Senator Padme Amidala entered her home after a long day from the Senate. She received a call from Anakin Skywalker's apprentice, Kaori Houhtem that she needed some advice from her about something. Kaori sounded a little nerveous about talking to Senator Amidala, but that did not bother Padme at all. She missed Anakin some, but they were better off being friends.
Padme heard her door opened and she turned around to see Kaori. "Hello, Kaori," she greeted with a smile. "Please have a seat anywhere and my droid will bring you a drink. What assistance can I be to you?"

Kaori and Anakin had been together for a bit now and she knew she could tell noone about hers and Anakin's relationship but she wanted to. SHe thought long and hard ((ooc: thats what she said XD)) about it and she decided to talk to Anakin's close friend Padme Amidala. She sent a message to Padme asking if they could talk. When she got the ok from Padme, she started to head to the senator's place
When Kaori arrived at Padme's place she entered and smiled over at Padme
"hello Padme. Thanks for letting me come over."
She sat down in one of the chairs and sighed looking over at her
"Padme, You and Anakin are really close friends right?"

Padme stiffened slightly when Kaori asked if she and Anakin were close friends. To be truthful, Padme and Anakin were really good friends. Perhaps even a clittle closer than most friends were. She and Anakin had shared a bond together for a long time. Even though they had broken up at the beginning start of the Clone Wars, Anakin still had a special place in Padme's heart.
"Yes," Padme replied as she as nodded her head. "How is Anakin these days? I haven't seen him in a while since the whole debate in the Senate. Not that I can blame him from staying as far away from politics." She chuckled softly. "And how have you been doing, Kaori?" she added.

Kaori smiled looking over at Padme
"He's going good. Always getting in trouble. He's been training me more and I'm fine. Padme since you two are close friends can i trust you with something that noone else must find out about?"

Padme chuckled softly. "That sounds about right for him to be getting into trouble," she said as she sat down on the couch where Kaori was sitting. "Yes," she said. "Anything you tell me stays between us. That's why I figured it would be best for us to talk here and not at my office," she added.

Padme smiled. "Really?" she asked gently. "How 'close' have you two gotten?" There were many levels of close. "As in close friends or more than just 'close friends'?" she explained.

"Oh?" Padme said in surprise. She had not expected that. She knew Anakin have moved on or just went about his duties of protecting the Republic. Padme thought for a moment as to how to respond without making Kaori feel awkward. "I imagine you and Anakin have a lot in common," she said. "I am surprised that you came to see me about this matter," she admitted honestly. "I understand that you can't tell the council about your feelings regarding Anakin."
Padme thought for a moment. "Just out of curiousity," she said trailing off slightly. "Has Anakin told you anything about me?"

Padme smiled as she sighed for a moment. "I was kind of hoping that he would have mentioned to you that he and I were more than 'just friends'," she said. "I may not know exactly how you feel about Anakin, but I can relate to having feelings for someone," she explained. "You see, Anakin and I were involved with each other until the start of the Clone Wars we decided we were better off as just friends." She looked at Kaori, hoping that she wouldn't be angry with her or Anakin. "Even though Anakin and I have gone our separate ways, Anakin still has a place in my heart." Her hand reached up to the japor snipet Anakin had given her when she was Queen of Naboo.

Kaori's eyes widen hearing that Anakin and her had feelings for each other long ago
"You two were in love?"
Kaori watched as Padme's hand goes up to the necklace around her neck
"what's that?"

"Yes, we were in love with each other," Padme said smiling. "You see when I first met Anakin, I was queen of Naboo and my homeworld got into the hands of Nute Gunray and Master Kenobi and his master Qui-Gon came to my homeworld to help and we escaped, but our ship got damaged and we ended up having to get it repaired," she explained. "We ended up going to Watto's junk shop and that's where I first met Anakin. He automatically fell in love with me. Qui-Gon also discovered he was force adept and Anakin helped us repair our ship by entering in a podrace. Anakin got to come with us."
She smiled when Kaori asked about the necklace. "This is a japor snipet," she said smiling. "Anakin gave it to me when we brought him here. He said it would bring me good forture," she added. "After the battle of Naboo I never saw him again until ten years later." She took off her necklace to show Kaori the carving on the snipet.

Kaori looked over the snipet amazed at the detail in the little thing.
"Wow. He did an amazing job on this."
Kaori handed back the snipet
"I wonder why he never told me about your relationship with him."

Padme nodded. "That he did," she said smiling. "Ten years later we reunited again and he was still an apprentice and I was a Senator and your master was not shy about showing his feelings about me," she said. "Then there were threats on my life and he escorted me to Naboo where we shared our first kiss and he ended up revealing his true feelings for me." She paused for a moment. "I was shocked at first and I knew that Jedi couldn't fall in love and he knew that I wouldn't let him give up his future for me," she said. "However Anakin turned out to be right. I did have feelings for him which I hadn't realized until we were about to die on Geonesis and that's where I admitted to him that I loved him." She paused to take a breath. "Let's see how shall I explain this next part to you," she mused as she thought for a moment.
