Chopper mused over the menu, reading about things he had never heard of. However, to try and look smarter about this sort of thing then he was, he acted as if he did. He set the menu down and folded his arms, leaning onto the table. "Sounds good to me..."
He blinked at the sarccastic comment. Like he would have known anything about women... geez. "Just checking. One can never be too certain..."
"May I take your order?" The waiter approached.

Kayla looked at the waiter. "Shrimp," she said. She took a sip of her wine and tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "So any other surprises I should know about?" she asked as she looked at Chopper.

"Perhaps." Chopper was now hiding his smirky smile behind his fists. He had one hand inside the other, on which he rested his chin. Perhaps he had more surprises, but Kayla would have to wait. If there were such an ability as Jedi to read minds, then he'd empty it of the plans for the evening. He took his wine glass and took a sip, trying his best not to burst out laughing. Yes, he woudl keep the evening a secret, at least for now.

Kayla rolled her eyes. "Well," she said as she blinked. "Fine." She scotted over towards Chopper and rested her head on his shoulder and sighed softly. She was enjoying herself to say the least.
The lights dimmed softly and the waiter came to their table and lit a few candles and then disappeared to get their food.
'Wonder what the hell Chopper has planned for tonight?' she thought to herself as she kissed Chopper softly on the lips.

Chopper smiled, and stretched his arm over his head before smoothly putting it around her shoulders. He joined in her sigh, quite content at the way things have been going so far. They hadn't argued, or thrown fists... or even had to kill something. It felt... good... for once, it was almost shocking to think it.
He returned the kiss, and smiled. "Here comes the food..." Yes dinner first, get that outta the way.

Kayla smiled. "Yep," she said.
The waiter brought their food and left the check and left.
Kayla smiled as she picked up a shrimp and ate it. "Not bad," she mused. "This definitely beats living off bread." She took another sip of her wine and ate another shrimp.

Chopper, for a brief moment, looked at the shrimp like somekind of foreign enemy. This was something new, and completely unexpected. He blinked, watched Kayla took a bite, then tried one himself. Well it was different, that was for sure. Good, but different. He was so used to hard bread and military rations it was hard to say what was good or not. He ate what was in front of him, and if he didn't like it, he went hungry. Interesting. He ate another one, and took a sip of wine.
"Hard to say.... It's unique that's for sure."

Kayla smirked. "Maybe next time I just order you bread and me wine," she teased as she continued eating. The band began to play slow dancing music. "This has been interesting to say the least," she said.

Chopper grinned, and reached over to her wine glass. 'Well one thing's for certain, that's enough of that!" He said teasingly, slidding the glass further away from her. He chuckled and ate another shrimp.
His ears twitched slightly, picking up the change in music. He slid credits fromh is pocket and pushed them underneath the bill. They could stay as long as they wanted, but they could come back to eating in a bit.
He smung out of his seat and offered a hand. "I dunno if I can, but I'm gonna ovver anyway. Would you like to dance?"

"Hey," Kayla said as she watched Chopper take her glass from her. "I wasn't finished with that." She took Chopper's hand when he offered it to her. "Sure," she said as she let him lead her out on the dance floor. The was going to be interesting to say the least.

Chopper exhaled with relief when she took his hand and let the wine slide. He thought he was gonna be in bigger troble for that, but thank goodness he had saved himself. He smiled and gently took her hand, guilding her to the dance floor.
He was going to try with a slow dance first? Oh crud. "Erm..." This was slightly aqward. He would try, and he agreed. this was going to be interesting. God he needed to loosen up...

Kayla smiled softly and she grabbed Chopper's hands and put one hand on her lower back and put the other hand in her hand and she wrapped her arm around his neck and then she started moving her hips around slowly an started dancing.

Chopper was greatful for her help. Eventhough she didn't say anything, it was still help enough. He decided to let it slide, and to just follow. There were a few other couples dancing as well, so it wasn't as if they were the only ones. That took a little bit of damage away from his hurt pride.
"I may be getting the hand of this....!" He whispered into her ear, bending his head forward to kiss the side of her head.

Kayla smiled when Chopper kissed the side of her head. "You're doing fine," she said smiling as she raised up her head and kissed Chopper on the lips softly. "I'm not that much of a dancer." She rested her head on Chopper's chest.

Chopper smiled, and rested his chin on the trop of her head. "You seem like a good dancer to me." He said, then realised afterwards how cheesy it seemed. He gave her a tight hug. He honestly hoped she was enjoying herself. He was, anytime with Kayla was a good time. Still though, she had lived a civilian/bounty hunter life and he hadn't, one could never be too sure. Maybe he was trying to hard?
"To think that the evening has only started..."
