Message for guests | Star Wars: Front Lines

Greetings!

For those guests or new members, my name is Garyn. I am the co-owner of this forum, and a long time friend of the owner, Cameron (Lord Vader). We've known each other for several, several years, and have been part of many forums together. One forum happened to be my old Star Wars themed forum that unfortunately perished. Throughout the time I've been using forums (8+ years), I've seen my fair share of forums that have died over time. At one point, Force-Fx, which is popular with custom lightsabers, had possibly the most active Star Wars forum for its time. Now, however, it's a ghost town.

It's the way things work with forums. Eventually, they all run their course and die off. There are some circumstances where a forum may last a very long time, but that is rare. As most of our current members, new members, and guests can see, this forum is quite slow in terms of activity. Is it dead? No, far from it, in my opinion. We still have a small group of people who still log on and role play when they can. Don't let the lack of activity fool you. Our members can still put up good role plays when they get into a good one.

Guests, if you're thinking of joining, I only recommend it if you're patient (willing to wait for a reply), and are okay with a forum that isn't buzzing with thousands of members. If this forum doesn't look appealing to you, then I thank you for at least taking the time to read this.
