Karai marched her way down the corridor to deliver the news of her latest victory over the foul enemies of the empire. the only sound coming from her was the fall of her boots against the metal floor of said corridor, if she still had the ability to think of such thing it might have amused her that her black cloak made her look very intimidated. she came to a stop just outside the room that the one she was to report to was staying in,and tapped the end of her saber pike against it to let the person know that someone wanted to come in.

((OOC: Just gonna jump in here because I have an empire dude that I love to RP. Even if he's a background/unimportant character here... I don't care. )) CT-6887, also known as Sparky, was standing just inside the briefing room door. Since the end of the clone wars work had been pretty slow for most of his brothers, those that stayed of course. For an ARF scout trooper like Sparky however, there always was something to do. Some planets weren't too fond of the whole 'galactic empire' type of thing, and thus making spy work to do. While he was built and trained for the hard work of the field, Sparky had occasionally been requested to attend briefings, and even debriefings, of various missions. Why they would ask a private, Sparky didn't know. It could be because his line of work was so dependant on intelligence and knowing all the details... the more Sparky was in the loop, the higher percentage of mission success. All in all.... he was told to be here, and so be here he would be. Standing in full, white scout armour (the traditional ARF style, because Sparky preferred it) Sparky was stuck on door duty until further notice. It was the small rapping at the door that saved Sparky's legs from going stiff at attention. Spinning on his heel, the trooper opened the door with a hiss. "Karai Astar. Welcome."His HUD easily identified the persona standing before him. While Sparky had been taught who was who, the trooper didn't actually know any of the shadow guard personally. He had heard rumours no doubt, and he had seen glimpses occasionally. Either way, this persona had his respect. "Right this way, sir." He didn't really wait, having specific instructions to play escort the moment she had arrived. Leading the way, Sparky halted a few metres away from the conference table and resumed the position of attention.

if Karai was expecting anything on the other side of the door it wasn't a old armoured trooper standing before..his armour triggered brief flashes of her previous life as a Jedi but they were over long before she could process them. Karai was impressed he knew her name..she didn't think that the names of her group were trooper knowledge but apparently she was wrong. she didn't have time to think much on it as the trooper began walking to where she was meant to be. Karai wanted to say something to him in the affirmative but it came out as a strangled croak which sent shots of pain trough her neck due to her ruined vocal cords not being able to handle working even a tiny bit anymore.

Sparky cast a brief glance over his shoulder at the individual following him. She was fairly quiet, and the silence only made the trooper more curious. It was a dangerous habit of his, sneaking around following his curiosity blindly... it was going to get him killed. She tried to speak, the sound only being cut brief. Sore throat? Emotion? Sparky wasn't sure, it was too difficult to tell. "You were expected. I was told that you would be arriving at the door any moment, and that I was to bring you to the conference table." He spoke cheerily, trying to offer some kind of reasoning as to why an ARF trooper private like him was hanging around. "The information was sent to my HUD, and facial recognition said you were the one!" He chuckled uneasily, wanting to ask about the rumours his brothers had told... the fighting wonders of these mysterious people. He chewed on his words for a moment, wondering how to phrase something when they arrived in the room. Too late now.
He motioned to the table, and the officers gathered around who were waiting for the news. Perhaps he could ask afterwards. He stiffened up at attention, waiting to be addressed or dismissed.

Karai looked at the trooper through her red visor as he spoke about his HUD recognising her and that he was to bring her to the conference table .She nodded at him and took out the item holder containing her report on the mission and the lightsaber she claimed from the traitorous Jedi she had just returned from killing. She then began to look around the table for the officer in the room that looked the most important. It is likely he or she knew about the missions shadow guard are sent on.
