Nexia was born on Kashyyyk, and she is the daughter of Jedi Eark and Lexia Montez. Her father was killed when she was two-years-old. Her mother Lexia was a Jedi freedom fighter, the wife of Eark and mother of Nexia. She met Eark while fighting Separatists on the planet Talus. They fell in love and secretly married, continuing to fight for the Republic until she found out she was pregnant. When Lexia found out she was pregnant, she and her husband decided to move to Kashyyyk and it was here she gave birth to their daughter. At a young age, Nexia showed signs of being Force sensitive. A major battle broke out between the Sith and the Jedi. Nexia's parents were killed leaving the child all alone. Master Yoda discovered Nexia and learned that the child had a strong connection with the Force and offered to take her to Coruscant to be trained as a Jedi.
Until recently she had a vision and Master Yoda told her to go confront it. Nexia traveled to the Outer Rim and confronted a Zabark name Savage Opress, a Sith who offered to train her. She agreed and now the two have been training together.
