That was the Kayla he was beginning to know. He continued to try and think of something to say, keeping his focus on the floor. What could he say? Atleast she seemed to be dealing with her loss fairly well. Chopper certainly wasn't the greatest at that, his anger was good proof of that theory. He scowled at the thought of it.
Caught unaware, the room went black. "Hey!" He said, his voice muffled by the jacket that seemed to have appeared out of no where. He freed his arms and pulled it off his head. Scowling he looked toward the chair expecting to see Kayla, but finding him sitting next to him instead. His mismatched eyes looked away and back down at the jacket.
"Hard to loosen up when this happens..." He muttered, lightly tracing a few of the scars on the side of his face subconsciously.

Kayla laughed at the expression from Chopper when the coat hit him in the face. "Now that was classic," she said with a grin. She watched him trace the outline of some scars on his face.
"True," she said quitely. "I've got my fair share of scars. Also got one on the back on my head from where I busted it," she said chuckling.
Kayla was starting to get bored. "So where is this old bucket of bolts heading anyway?" She asked.
Then the ship rocked, knocking Kayla down in the process. "What the hell was that?" She growled as she glanced at Chopper.
"Separatist attack," Clone trooper CJ-345 reported. He glanced at Chopper. "Get off your ass and get into position," he said.
"About time for some action," Kayla said as she grinned wickedly as she pulled out her blaster. "I've got plenety of surprises along the way," she added. "And no this wasn't my idea so can't blame me this time," she added sarcastically.
ZAP!
"INCOMING!" Kayla yelled as she yanked herself and Chopper out of the way as the laser shot into the room. "Where the hell did that....Shit that's a crab droid," she grumbled, shaking her head.
Kayla fired her blaster at the droid. "Shit screw the blaster," she said as she pulled out a smoke grenade and threw it at the droid and fill the room with smoke.
"Now for the fun part," Kayla said as she pulled out her lightsaber and then Force jumped on the crab droid's back and then within sececonds that droid was scrap metal.
"That was fun," she said grinning. She glanced at Chopper. "I think your brothers are aware I am here now," she added with a smart ass smirk as she Force-pushed the smoke and debris out of her way.
"Battle droids," she said.
"You there hault!" Said a battle droid.
"Eat laser clanker!" She said as she fired her blaster and killed the droid. She looked at Chopper. "You coming or do I have to have all the fun killing droids---Ah!"
A droid fired a shot at Kayla's right arm. "Goddamn it," she growled as she growled.

The moment the laser bolt hit the ship, Chopper had his helmet on. He felt, or maybe even smelt the droids before they hit. It brought a smile to Chopper's face. Everything else in the room seemed to fade away, and all there was was Chopper and the droids. He laughed, a laugh that was darker then most expected it to be. He had no weapon, but sure enough Chopper would get one sooner or later.
The crab droid entered, and all the smart ass comments from Kayla were drowned out but the roar of the blood in his ears and heartbeat. Observing that she had the crab droid under control, he took care of the others. He leapt at the first one, knocking it over. He pinned its arms and tore wires from the neck joint. It twitched, and stopped moving. With a grunt, Chopper ripped the head off the rest of the way, a lot easier when half the wires were missing. Grabbing the blaster, he rolled off the metal body and leapt to his feet. A new droid was coming in fast, but it didn't last long when Chopper threw the head at it. It toppled over and muttered in complaint, but not after Chopper shot it twice.
He was about to tear the eye sockets out of another droid when he heard a shout. His shook his head and saw Kayla with a battle droid. She had been shot in the arm, and Chopper had to move quickly. Shoving the battle droid down, he ran and tackled the droid that had shot Kayla to the ground. He sat ontop of it, pounding it with his fists to no avail. Slam! Slam! Slam!It only brought bruises to his knuckles. The pain was harsh, but it felt good. Slam! Slam! Slam! He brought the blaster to its face and with a roar, pulled the trigger. No more battle droid.
Chopper stood and faced Kayla. "Let me see the arm." He demanded, reaching forward to grab a hold of it. His knuckles were badly busted, he could feel it. The pain was hot and searing, but it could be looked at later. His gaze was intence, the battle spiking up his nerves into overdrive. He loved, no thrived on battle.

Kayla blinked when Chopper took on the battle droid and watched him take care of the droid. She was impressed. “Not bad,” she mused with a smirk. “However it may help if you have this,” she added as she handed him the blaster and smiled friendly. “Never go anywhere without a weapon because you never know when shit like this will happen.”
Kayla glared at him when he demanded to see her arm. “It ain’t that bad,” she said, showing him her arm. The last thing she needed was another argument. “Just a light blaster wound. “I can heal it up,” she said as she put her other hand over it and used the Force to heal it up within ten seconds. “One advantage of being a Jedi with training,” she said with a smirk. “Though I am curious as to how in the hell the droids got onboard the ship,” she said with a frown as she thought for a moment as she glanced at Chopper. “Any ideas or theories as to how this happened?” she asked. She had her theories and ideas, but she wanted to hear his thoughts.

Chopper honestly didn't care how many angry looks or comments she fired off at him. He was pleased that she was impressed, but the adrenaline from the battle still made him a little jumpy. It felt good. It brought back good times. He was excited, there was no doubt about that. "It seems ot be alright-" He was cut off as she headled it. He gave a disgusted face, eventhough it was hidden by his helmet. He pulled away. That just wasn't naturaly... wasn't human.
He accepted the blaster and slid it into his belt. "We don't carry weapons onboard ship unless you have to. They're all stored together." He explained. "But thanks." Just incase more droids showed up. That was always useful. He threw the droid blaster over his shoulder and hear dit clatter to the floor.
He shrugged. "I dunno, we must be approaching somekind of seperatist ba-"
Chopper was cut off as metal hands clamped around his throat from behind. Both hands constructed around his neck as a Commando Droid lifted him off the ground and squeezed with all its might. Chopper struggled out breaths as he kicked at the droid's legs. They staggered backwards as Chopper threw his weight into the kicks. No use, the droid held tight and Chopper was beginning to run out of ideas and out of breath.

Kayla snorted. "I know probably thinking that wasn't normal," she said with a smug look. "Jedi who are training to be healers have to learn it and if you're training as a Jedi it comes in handy when it comes to getting shot in battle. Though there are limitations to it. I'm not a trained medic---" She was cut off when the commando droid came out of nowhere. "What the fuck is that?" she asked as she ignited her lightsaber and then jabbed it in the droid's back, releasing its hold on Chopper. She helped him up. "You okay?" she asked. "Try not to kill yourself."
"Attention we're under attack," said a trooper on the inner comm.
"No fucking shit we're under attack," Kayla growled sarcastically under her breath as she dodged out of the way. "Those droids may be strong, but they are idiots," she growled as she fired a few rounds from her blaster at incoming droids.

This was definitely not the time to be playing games, but Chopper felt the need too. He felt stupid for having the droid sneak up on him like that, and it definitely pissed him off. He hated them and payed attention to everything, yet he was still caught. He felt the pressure on his neck release, and although the droid was dead Chopper still cluntched its fingers tightly. He fell to the floor, and felt Kayla attempting to help him up. Looking at his hands, he saw the droid's fingers. His fingers now as he sneakily snuck them into a pouch.
So now the joke would commence. He leaned against Kayla for support, wheezing slowly and loudly so she could hear him through his helmet. He noticed her starting to shoot again and played along. "Kayla..." He spluttered lazily, stumbling and falling to a knee. He grunted and hauled himself back up. He tried to say something, but it was uncomprehensable as he stuttered toward her. He nearly fell twice, but when he was close enough he stretched out a hand to touch her face. "....Kayla...." He sighed, his fingers barely reached her cheek before he collapsed to the floor with a clunk of his armour.
He didn't move, but of course Chopper was still alive. Playing dead was a neat trick, and soemthing he was good at; a good survival technique. He regulated his breathing to be slow in order to give the apperance he wasn't breathing while maintaining a slow heartbeat.

“What the hell?” Kayla sputtered as she saw Chopper stumble towards her. Had he got shot and she didn’t notice? She felt his hand brush her cheek.
‘Well shit,’ she thought when she heard Chopper wheezing. If a clone came in and heard this she be a dead woman.
“Oh no you don’t,” she said as she took his helmet off and noticed was moving. CPR? She thought. She grinned at the expression of the look on Chopper’s face. He would have a hell of a fit if she did that. So she gently slapped his face. “Come on jackass breathe,” she said. She was trying to stay calm, but at the same time she was starting to panic. “Come on damn it,” she growled. “You do realize if you die I’ll get blamed and then be executed?” she said.

Now, to wake up or to not wake up. That was the next question Chopper had to ask. She had taken off his helmet and had resorted to smacking his face, actually to be honest, it was extremely unpleasant. He had noticed that she was beginning to panic, ever so slightly. It was good enough for him.
He waited a good few minutes.
"And we couldn't have you executed now could we Commander?" He said at last, opening and blinking his discoloured eyes a few times before focusing on her face. "Actually, I think you could have left out the slapping. It was rather unessesary, you know."
She was gonna kill him, that's for sure. Regardless, he broke out into a grin and a laugh, unable to contain how well his plan had actually worked. His shoulders shook and for once he didn't try to hide his amusement.

Kayla blinked in shock when Chopper woke up. “You jackass!” she shouted as she blinked as she smacked him upside the head with the back of her head. “If you thought me gently slapping you was unnecessary, then I hate to see you object to me shooting you with a rocket launcher,” she said sarcastically.
Then a thought crossed her mind. “Well you know I could have resorted to CPR you know and risk pissing you off,” she retorted hotly.
She threw a death glare at him. “That was so not funny,” she quipped as she growled. “Seriously if you hadn’t come back to life how else---”
Before she could finish talking, a spider droid came out of nowhere and fired a blaster shot into Kayla’s right shoulder. “Fucker,” she cursed as she Force-jumped on top of a crab droid. “You have fun taking out the spider droid and I’ll take out crabby,” she growled as she pulled out her lightsaber and started to tango with the crab droid which wasn’t working out so good.

Chopper proped his body up on his elbows and was trying to catch his breath he was laughing so hard. Her smack brought him back to reality. He sat up and rubbed the spot she hit him gently. "The look on your face was priceless." He retorted. "And it was incredibly funny!"
Chopper watched Kayla get hit and his eyes stretched wide, he reached to help but she was off before he could say a word. He grumbled and snatched his helmet before leaping back into the fray. He pulled the blaster and was about to blow the spider droid to bits until a new idea came to him. The tools! He had tools in his belt from when Kayla first ran off! What luck! He quickly put away the blaster and took a quick inventory of what he had. The metal cutters were back in the cargo room, he had a pair of pliers, and of course... the screwdriver he had nailed the droid with.
Looking back at the spier droid, he took off. It fired a bolt and it missed him by a hair. He rolled to the side to avoid the next one. Leaping closer after each shot, he managed to jump ontop of it. He dug the screwdriver in between the plates and pulled them apart. Now what was he looking for?
The droid tried ot shake him off, but Chopper reached in and pulled onto a handful of wires. The droid stopped struggling. Finnaly. Moving things around as quickly as possible, he quickly gained control.
"MOVE!" He yelled to Kayla, pushing the barrel of the gun toward the crab droid. He pulled out a few wires and the droid sprung to life and shot out a laser bolt straight for the crab droid.

Kayla sliced off one of the crab droid’s leg and then when Chopper yelled moved she glared at him. “And miss out on the fun?” she asked sarcastically with a wicked grin on her face. “Not a chance in----”
Commando droid tackled Kayla to the ground and she put her blaster to it’s head. “Fuck off,” she said as she Force-pushed the droid off of her as she scrambled to her feet. “You are going to get yourself killed with that crab droid,” she said as she Force-jumped onto the crab droid’s back and then cut off one of it’s legs.
Kayla’s right shoulder was starting to bleed badly, but no way in hell was she going to the medical bay. Over her lifeless corpse that would happen.

Idiot! Chopper leaned on the barrel as hard as he could at the last moment to move the targeting of the bolt. It blasted instead into the commando droid that was threatening Kayla.
"Damn it I TOLD you to look out!" She was sure as hell lucky he managed to move the barrel in time. Frustrated he yanked all the wires out and watched the spider droid collapse. Whipping around, he fired laser bolts at any droid that came into his sight. Droid after droid fell. Chopper glanced over at Kayla and saw the shoulder bleeding bad. Spider droids packed a powerful punch, he knew that, but Chopper also knew it was most likely going to a whole battle of its own to get Kayla to the medbay. Maybe if she passed out, he could then carry her there. That was most likely going to be the case. For now, she was alright.
He clenched his teeth, taking a destroyed battle droid leg and using it as a club to knock down others. He roared with laughter as he sprang about, trying to rip off heads and blast them to bits with the blaster. All the while though, he kept and eye on Kayla.

“I was looking out,” Kayla growled. “Not my fault a shit load of droids decided to ambush us and besides,” she growled. “Since when in the hell do I listen to you?” she asked with a smirk. “I can take care of---” Before she could finish a commando droid threw her across the room and into a pile of crates, causing her to bash her head into the wall.
She spat her hair out of her mouth and shook her head to clear it so she could think. “Goddamn it,” she growled as she fired a shot at the commando droid and hit it in the head, but it didn’t die yet. “…Damn it,” Kayla said as she felt her vision blacken. Her injure wasn’t helping the matter either.

Chopper groaned as he saw Kayla get launched into the crates. He grumbled to himself, shot the last battle droid and ran over to help. He tackled the Commando droid, who turned at the last moment and saw him. the two rolled on the floor, batting at eachother's heads until Chopper finally got a hold of a blaster and shot the neck joint several times over. It finally gave up and collapsed into a head of scrap metal.
Satisfied with the state of the droids (scrap) he ran to Kayla's side. He waved his hand in front of her face and got a slow reaction. Slag. First things first..... erm... crud. He was no medic. Searching his pouches he found a strip of cloth. Good enough. "You're gonna kill me for this later." He muttered.
Gently as possible, he moved her arm slightly so he could semi bandage it. He wrapped the cloth around the worst of the wound and tucked the end under to prevent it from undoing. Bitting his lip, he decided to check for a pulse. Faint? He didn't know. Hell she needed help that was beyond him.
"The medbay!" He grunted, shifting his weight slightly. He moved the crates so he could easily move around. "If you can hear me, say something... or something along those lines."
Being very careful not to get hit incase she was playing around, he carefully picked her up. One hand slid under her knees, the other hand moved her good arm around his shoulder then supported her back. He stood and headed for the door.
