(OOC: Yeah yeah you are lucky she isn’t being stubborn…yet. XD These two are cheesy.)
Kayla sighed softly when Chopper asked her the question that she was least expecting, but knew it was coming anyway. She knew that it was going to come out. She just did not expect it to be that soon. One thing Kayla was very stubborn about was revealing too much information about herself to anyone. That’s why she is so prickly when it comes to her past history. It was a subject that was not to be taken lightly.
Kayla felt Chopper put his hand on her face and smiled. “I left because I wanted something a little more than what the Jedi could offer me,” she said, thinking of how to explain. “As I said before, I wasn’t born into the Jedi or had family that had ever been trained as a Jedi. Growing up at the temple I always felt like I didn’t feel like I fit in,” she explained. “I was asked to track down my dad who was wanted for a bounty and that's when it hit me that was better of being a bounty hunter,” she said as she looked up and bit the inside of her cheek. “In a way we have our own choice to make for various reasons,” she admitted. “Mine has a lot to do with me having ties with actual bounty hunters not that I can help who gave birth to me and raised me.” She snickered at that comment as she thought for a moment. “Jedi path isn’t easy not for someone who knows what it's like to live life outside the Jedi order. Which I can relate to in some ways,” she said.
Kayla smiled as she smiled and kissed the tip of Chopper’s finger. “I suppose same thing can be said about you and your brothers,” she said. “No one knows how you guys are trained. I mean the Jedi don’t train you guys to fight in battle.” She paused for a moment. “Though you need a punching bag or need to at least wear protective gloves over your knuckles so you don’t scar them up so much when you rip droids apart,” she said as she trailed her other hand on his hand.
