Chopper didn't say much. For once he just sat there, shut up, and let the 'medic' to their job. He hesitated when she took his hands, not really looking forward to having the 'irritants' removed. It sounded more painful then keeping them as they were. He restisted, then gave up in the end knowing that it's best to have healed hands, then busted ones.
The sting took him by surprise. Hell that was worse then he imagined. He pulled back sharply, nearly knocking over the dish. All the muscles in his upper body flexed and tensed. 'Come on Chopper, take it like a man.' He clenched his teeth, making them grind together to relieve the urge to shoot something. He relaxed slightly, feeling the pain in his knuckles sooth out a little. He never stopped clenching his teeth. The bandages went back on, and eventually the pain dulled and Chopper was able to realx his muscles.
"Thank you." He said stiffly behind clenched teeth.

"You're welcome," Kayla said as she smiled. "As long as you leave those bandages alone you're good and you can move your fingers in them as long as you don't put your gloves."
She noticed the irritated look on his face. "Maybe I should have just left your hands alone with the particulars in them," she muttered. "Then again why irritate you any more than you already are?" she asked as she adjusted herself on her pillows.
"Be glad you guys don't have a medicial droid," she said. "Then you sure enough be screwed." She tried to raise herself up. "Damn it," she growled as she felt her shoulder. "That fucker hurts." She spotted the IV in her arm and she rolled her eyes. "Damn it," she said as she reached into her and started to play with the IV (OOC: Chopper better stop her from pulling that out otherwise they are screwed.)

Chopper pulled his hands back and flexed his fingers. It did feel better... but they wern't 'normal' yet. THe bandages were odd and he had the urge to rip them off and stomp on them. He studied his hands, playing around with the bandages. It was odd to not have his complete armour on, and he took a glance at his forarm plates that were stacked neatly by his helmet. He sighed while looking back down at his bare forarms.
Chopper looked back up to see Kayla playing with the IV. "Are you stupid?!" He growled, reaching over to grab her hand. "You're going to make things worse. I'll make you a deal, I won't mess with the bandages and heal fast, if you don't play with anything you're not supposed to, like the IV, and heal fast.... sound fair?" He glared at her.

Kayla glared at Chopper when he grabbed her hand. "..." She blinked. "Damn it," she said. She thought for a moment. "As for healing can't guarantee it'll be fast," she said with a grumble. "Fine," she said. "I guess I'll leave the IV alone if you leave the bandages alone," she said.

Chopper smiled. Finally he had gotten threw to her. Maybe he should call her stupid more often. He gently and slowly let go of her hand, making sure she didn't pull a fast one and rip it out. He straightened back up and stretched with his arms above his head.
"I'm sure you'll heal fast. You did manage to seal that other wound before, right? You'll be outta here in no time." He yawned while dropping his hands back down to his sides.
Chopper scratched underneath his chin. There wasn't much more to be said, and just sitting here made him feel slightly... aqward almost... He didn't know what else to do.
"Uhh, you hungry at all? I could go and grab something from the mess-"

Kayla yawned some. "Not that easy healing a blaster hole that's deep," she said. "Besides that medic used stitches and knowing you, you'll throw a hissy fit if I tried healing it cause I'll likely rip the IV out then we'd be screwed so out of the question.
Then her stomach growled. "Now that you mention food yeah," she said with a smirk. "And something to drink. Just try not to rip those stitches."

"Sure thing... Commander." With a teasing smile, Chopper stood and took his leave. He decided it was best to leave the helmet and armour plates where they sat and to just go.
The door hissed closed behind him as he took a left down the hall. There were less troopers running about, the signs of battle already beginning to diminish. He raised a hand to his temple and rubbed it, being carefuly to avoid moving his hands to much. The swelling had gone down for now, and it was a relief to see that healing would soon take it's path.
Reaching the mess, he entered and immediately picked out a few of his brothers among the table. There weren't as many as there normally are, but more then Chopper had suspected. He retrieved a tray and strolled up to the counter to get Kayla's soon to be first meal onboard. Personally, Chopper wasn't hungry which was a good thing. No one would ask questions.
He retrieved what he had come for and turned to make his leave back to the med bay. What was he doing? Why was he helping a bounty hunter? She had snuck aboard the ship and was now eating their food in their med bay. He should have turned her in! Why though? Why was he stumbling about and helping her? He frowned in frustration.

Kayla groaned as she sat up and slowly swung her legs over the bed and looked around the room. "Well, this is gonna be interesting trying to go to the loo with an IV," she said as she grabbed her IV and went to the bathroom. Ten minutes she came out and crawled into bed and messed up the sheets. "Well that was lovely," she said as she through the sling off.

The sling hit the ground just as Chopper entered. Well. What perfect timing. Kayla was busted. What on earth was she doing? He sighed, and grumbled to himself as he walked over.
I thought we agreed on 'doing nothing you arn't supposed to'." He frowned, walking over to the bed and setting the tray onto the table. He folded his arms angrily across his chest. As if demanding an explanation. An eyebrow arched. He was waiting.

"Actually I didn't do anything wrong," Kayla defended with a frown. "I took the sling off so I could rest my arm. Other than the bandage it's still on unless you want me to roll over to prove I didn't," she added snarkily. When he gave her a demanding expression look, she smiled. "Don't make me resort to meditating of what the Jedi teach," she teased with a grin as she poked his arm lightly. "Great now I ain't so hungry anymore," she grumbled as she snuggled back in her pillows.

"I'll push your head into those pillows and suffocate you..." Chopper grumbled as he sat on the edge of the bed.
He wasn't quite satisfied with the answer he got. The sling made a difference, he remebered having to wear one once. It prevented the arm from being used, stretched or bent. It allowed healing. He was going to say something about it, but decided it was best to take his own advice and keep his mouth shut. Bandages were one thing, and the IV was quite disturbing.
"Fill your boots." He said, leaning over and poking her on the back of the head gently. "The food's good."

Kayla blinked. "And I'd come back and haunt you if you smoother me to death," she grumbled as she rolled her eyes. "The arm is fine so I don't the point in wearing it if it's just my shoulder that's injured," she added with a left shoulder shrug.
She blinked when he poked her head. Really when did he joke around? She playfully swatted his hand. "Don't poke my head," she said with a playful glare. "Fine I'll eat the cookie," she said as she grabbed the cookiee and ate it and drunk some of the juice. "You look like you could use a nap," she added as she poked him back.

With a wince, Chopper snatched his hand away before her hand could touch his. That would not have been pretty. He rubbed the palm of his hand subconsciously, trying to move the bandages around to allow better movement.
Chopper nearly laughed, but decided it was best to not. A cookie, too funny. They didn't serve sweets onboard a Battle Cruiser. It was baked bread, and although it was similar in looks and taste, it was basicly a chunk of bread. It was still Chopper's, and many other clones' favourite.
He scratched his head and stretched, stiffling a yawn and trying to hide it. "I haven't slept in a while." He shrugged. "Nothing new."
He looked over and raised an eyebrow. "You're the one that looks tired."

"Wait," Kayla said with a frown. "That's not a cookie," she said with a snicker. "Good bread." She munched on the bread. "Better than protein bars if you came back with one of those I would have chosen to starve," she teased with a yawn. "What the hell makes you think I'm sleepy?" She asked sarcastically as she poked him. "You're the one who looks sleepy." Then she saw him messing with the bandages. Her hand reached for her IV and started to mess with it. "You leave your bandage alone or I'll yank the IV out and I ain't joking," she threatened as she rested her fingers on the IV.

"You tied them too tight." Chopper complained. "They restrict the movement." He added, letting go and dropping his hands into his lap. "I wasn't going to take them off, I was only adjusting them."
Chopper changed the subject. "Yeah, my brothers and I love it. Probably one of the better things onboard to eat." Without even asking, or giving Kayla a moment to think, Chopper leaned over and tore a piece off the side of the bread. He popped it into his mouth and chewed, making sure to swallow before speaking. "I'm not tired." He continued. "You get some sleep. You're not going anywhere, so you might as well fill your boots and rest."
