Chopper watched the medic go in bewilderment. If only he could do that, then a lot of this mess would be eliminated and he's have no worries getting back on the front lines. He pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration, then quickly looked up at Kayla, his hand dropping in surprise.
"A general? You're gonna be a general?!" He put his head in his hands. Could he imagine Kayla being a general?! That would be a chaotic legion, he swore it would be. He rubbed his tmeples, actually semi-enjoying the thought. His surprise turned to a chuckle. "A general..."
He folded his arms across his chest and leaned back. Solo, General Solo. That was a name that needed remembering, Kayla Solo. Atleast he knew her last name now. Yeah he could keep the sargeant distracted, that wasn't going to be too hard... save for the fact he was a medic. Is she kidding?! How on earth do you keep a medic in the same spot, those guys are ALWAYS working. He sighed.

Kayla smirked. "Yep," she said. "Besides once I make ammends I'll let you introduce the guys to their new general," she said. "And with a new general I can make some changes and possibly get you on the front lines again like you want," she added.
The medic poked his head into the room. "We're in the Space sector," he reported.
Kayla blinked. "Where at in space?" She asked.
"The Sarg didn't say," he reported.
Kayla face-palmed herself. "Never mind that," she said. She glanced at Chopper. "Mind locking up my backpack?" She asked. "In the locker room. Don't want my rocket launcher going off randomly," she said snickering.
"......Where in blazes did we find this crazy general?" KJ-345 said.
Kayla smirked as she waved her hand again at the medic. "You don't need to that," she said.
"I don't need to know that," he said toneless.
Kayla glanced at Chopper. "Once you that take the medic to the med bay so he can have his head examined," she said with a snicker. She leaned to whisper in Chopper's ear. "Your mind's not weak like his," she added. "Now get him out of here."

Chopper didn't know what to say; if there was anywhere he wanted to be in the galaxy, it was back on the front lines. If it was possible, and because of Kayla he was able to get back where he belonged, he wouldn't be able to thank her enough. "Kayla......" He started off, struggling to find words. "Thanks."
That deemed appropriate for now. He stood as th emedic entered again, and couldn't help a little snicker. "Yes General. I'll help him back." He approached and took the backback. What better place to put it then his barracks. Slinging it over one shoulder, he grabbed the medic's arm. "Let's get you back..." He muttered, steering him out.

Kayla smiled at Chopper. "Don't go thanking me yet," she said as she watched him leave with the medic.
Kayla pulled out her comlink and contacted her former Master Blaine Cross.
"Kayla," Blaine said. "What can I do for you?"
"I've decided to be a general," she said. "Tides have changed and since I'm known for my bounty hunting skills I'll be the best damn general you could hope for."
"Glad to have you back," Blaine said. "I'll inform the order."
Kayla ended communication.
She headed out of the room to find Chopper and she leaned In the doorway with a grin. "What the hell are you guys standing around like you ain't got a job to do?" She asked with her arms crossed.
KT-678 jumped up. "Who the hell are you?" He asked.
"Your worse nightmare," Kayla said grinning madly.
"That ain't the new general?" KT-678 asked in disbelief.

Chopper guilded the medic back to the medbay, and watched the confused man stagger back to work. Remembering his helmet, he went to collect it and the armour plates. He traced the visor on the front and smiled. 'We may have a chance of being on the front lines, yet...' He thought to it.
Spinning around on his heel, chopper left the medbay and headed toward his barracks, He turned down the appropriate hallway and stopped by his door. The door slid open, and he walked in. It wasn't until Chopper looked around that he realised how little time he actually spent here. Sleeping wasn't big on his list, and yes he was aware it was stupid. If he did sleep, it was at his work station. There was nothing better to spend the time with.
Walking over to the locket, he opened it and carefully stowed Kayla's gear. Closing and locking it back up, Chopper sat on the foot of his bed and put his head in his hands. What was he doing? A general, he was meerly a soldier. If anyone else discovered what he had done, he'd be considered dysfunctional lfor sure.

"Yep," Kayla said glaring at KT-678. "I'm General Kayla Solo," she added with a stern look. "If Captain Rex has to pay a visit he will write yall up for being totally unorganized and then be forced to reassign you."
Kayla looked around the room for Chopper and didn't see him. "Must be hiding," she mused as she headed out of the room and headed down the hallway. She found the barracks. "I must be in the barracks," she said. "Wonder which one of these is Chopper's room." She thought for a moment as she pressed the button on one of the doors and it opened. "So this is your quarters?" Kayla asked as she poked her head into the room as she glanced at Chopper. "Hope I'm not bothering you," she said as she paused for a moment as the door closed. "I've run into some of the boys and they weren't too crazy about having a new general," she said snickering as she cleared her throat as she walked over towards him and sat down beside him and put her hand gently on his. "On a serious note...I wanted to talk to you about what you told me about one your brothers betraying you. What exactly happened and because of what had happened is that why you ain't on the front lines anymore."

Chopper looked up as Kayla entered. She had been looking for him? An eyebrow arched. That was nice to hear, as for the trouble with her being a ... general?! He would have stood, if she hadn't sat next to him.
"General." He said stiffly. If this was a general, chopper had better be showing some respect. Regardless though, the touch of her hand made him slacken slightly. He gave up. He bit his lip, better out than in. Still, it was a touchy subject. Almost everyone knew about it though, so there wasn't anything that should be 'touchy' anymore.
"I was in Slick's Squadron, a while back. We were planning an attack, but we were ambushed and overrun by clankers. We made a narrow escape, and back at head base we were sitting there as normal when Captain Rex and Commander Cody entered. There was a spy in our midst. They brought it straight up. Slick wanted to talk to us first, but they said we could handle it. Handle it we did."
"Those were my brothers; we had eaten, lived, and fought by eachother. Now all of a sudden one's a traitor. It came to my turn, I had to think of something. I said I went to the mess, all lies. It was pointed out. That's when I had- I had to mention this."
Reaching inside a pouch on his belt, he drew out a battle droid finger. He didn't meet Kayla's eyes, he focused on the finger. "I collect battle droid fingers. I know it's against protocol.... but I feel as if they.... owe me. For what they did, the scars... the eye..." He sighed heavily.
"Slick said I was suspicious, and so I was the prime suspect. No one backed me up! It wasn't looking good. I wasn't the spy, but no one believed me. It wasn't until I threatened Slick with his wearabouts that we discovered it was him. My own sergeant. The one that said I had skill, the one that taught me. A traitor. He sold us out. I can remember his words so clearly, as if it were yesterday...."

Kayla snorted in amusement when Chopper addressed her as 'General'. "You don't have call me 'General'," she said with a smile. "Surprised my former master didn't run it by the council when I told him to be honest," she admitted.
Kayla waited patiently for Chopper to talk. She figured it must have been a touchy subject so she wasn't going to make him tell it. However when he did tell her she listened intently.
She watched as he pulled out a droid finger and explained why he collected them. "I was wondering why you collected droid parts. Now I see why though. Comes in handy sometimes because some of those droids carry information in them that you can crack to find out where the separtists are keeping those clankers at," she added. Kayla knew very well about pitpocketing droid parts. "I should know use to do the same when I was a kid even when I became a Padawan learner," she said. "And still do and got my share of wounds and scars too."
When he continued she listened. She would have been pissed too if someone she trusted to later be discovered as a traitor. She also would have been pissed as well if someone tried to set her up and no one defended her.
"Looks like I'm not the only one who prefers to leave some things bury in the graveyyard," she said. Then she frowned. "How did y'all figure out Slick was the traitor when he tried to make everything think it was you?" She asked.

Chopper traced the outline of the droid finger slowly. They did owe him, there was no doubt about it. Anything about a droid just made him want to punch it out. Their eyes, the voice. He shivered slightly, more like a disgusted twitch.
"I went to the south gate to string the fingers, everyone else turned right to go to the mess. He turned left. I questioned him on it, pointing it out that he wasn't there. 'I wished it hadn't come to this.' He said, punched me out of the way and ran for it. That was an indicator enough for us."
The whole event was like a flashback, the look he had given Slick when he questioned him, the contact with his fist. Slick made them all tough through intence training; they wre one of the best. His betray wasn't taken lightly, and his squadron wasn't really the same afterwards. Plus he was regarded as 'suspicious', and for that Chopper could never forgive Slick.

Kayla shifted her right shoulder some and groaned. "Those Clankers can't really help that they're programmed to kill of you think about it," she said. "It's the people who make them that way." She thought for a moment. "Come to think about it," she mused. "Humans aren't so perfect either. They think they are, but they ain't not by a long shot," she added as she watched him trace the droid finger. "If you really want to make those bastards pay get your hands on a Separatist and turn them in," she said. "Especially if one of the Separatists has a price on their head that's when bounty hunting comes in handy," she said with a smirk.
She listened as he spoke about Slick some more. She sighed softly. "So pretty much everything went to hell including you getting removed from the front lines," she said, summing up everything. "Someone must have offered him something pretty damn good for him to betray you guys like that," she added.
She thought for a moment. "Then again if there hadn't been a vote to create more clones we'd probably be getting our ass kicked by the Separatists," she said as she touched Chopper's cheek. "Apparently this squad needs some changes made because this place is being led on a wild bantha chase and if Commander Cody or Captain Rex plan to do an inspection the sergeant won't be getting an 'A' on it and I'm pretty sure your said sargeant is expecting to hear from the new general."

Chopper focused on the finger. What Kayla said was true. The seperatists; he hated them. He enclosed the finger in his hand and tightened his knuckles to the point of turning white. It hurt, but he didn't care. It brought a sense of relief with it.
"They gave him freedom." He muttered darkly. That was it. Slick had betrayed them all to make a point. He had said that jedi treated them as slaves, that we did their bidding, we died for them. The words had troubled Chopper for a long time, but he didn't want to believe it, he couldn't.
He pressed his cheek into Kayla's hand, finding somekind of comfrot there. However his gaze never wavered from the finger, now stuck in his fist. 'And here I am breaking protocol again...' He thought with a sigh.

"Freedom? After betraying you guys?" Kayla repeated as she blinked. "That's screwed up in more ways than I can think." She watched him as he tightened his grip on the droid's finger until his knuckle started to turn white. She put her other hand his to loosen it. "Damn you got a strong grip," she mused. "Though you know when this war is over with there's always going to be droids around," she added. "Droids are like humans in a way. They are good until they go bad or turn you due to being corrupted."
She thought for a moment. "Same with the Jedi," she said. "We have rules we have follow too. One of the big ones is attachment that most Jedi have broken." She sighed. "Also one I've broken before even left along with falling in love," she admitted.
When Chopper touched her cheek, she smiled. "You know your brothers have probably all done something against protocol and just haven't said or got caught," she said. "I'm gonna try and fix this mess one way or another."

Chopper's grip never failed, maintaining the hold on the froid finger. He wouldn't let go, it was his, his revenge and no one elses. This was his prize to keep.
"The Seperatists brought him freedom... from the army..." He hesitated. "He said we were treated like slaves; leaving and fighting, dying for the jedi and the republic." He bit his lip, trying hard to see what Slick was talking about, but refusing to believe it. Going 'Jango-ed" they called it.
The clone was glad to see that he wasn't the only one that broke protocol. He smiled slightly at her, feeling a little more of a connection. However though, most clones did their duty and that was it. He sighed with a frown. "Thanks, but it's gonna take a while...Plus there's no guarentee I'd be back on hte front lines anyway."

Kayla didn't make Chopper loosen his grip on the droid finger. It was his right to keep them even if it went against protocol. Instead she trailed her finger lightly.
"Jedi are keepers of the peace, not soldiers," she said. "Though it seem like they are soldiers now since the war has spread out."
She sighed for a moment. "Senate thinks passing more bills will help, but it doesn't."
She thought for a moment. "I know there's one fallen Jedi who is a Sith that also has his hand in with the Separatist," she said. "So yeah some people would probably think the same way that Slick did." She bit her lip some. "Then again no one knows how Jedi are made and trained and how they are raised. We choose to serve and follow the code and follow it. Even if that means giving up your life."
She sighed softly. "What he did won't go without making him have a regret later on," she said softly. "Everyone pays in the end one way or another. Also I know it's going to take a while to gain the troop's trust especially since I'm suppose to be one the bad guys with being a bounty hunter and whatnot."
She stroked Chopper's cheek softly. "That may happen sooner than you think," she said. "Since I'm a general I get to lead my on squad of clones into the battle field which means I'll need someone who I can rely on out in the field," she said as she kissed him on the cheek.
(OOC: I just realized that Kayla never did give Chopper a straight answer as to why she left the Order. That would be perfect to ask her.)

((OOC: I KNEW there would be an oppertune moment! XD ))
Chopper couldn't resist feeling his heart grow a little lighter at Kayla's closeness. There wa ssomething so comforting about it that he couldn't really put into words or describe very well. Something that he had least expected to happen, did.
She was right about the trust thing; that was something a lot of clones built on. Trust and honesty. That's how they're such a well connected family you could say, they're loyal ot eachother. They don't bicker, and if they do, it's playfully. It was interesting to hear about the jedi order though; there was so much unknown about it from their perspective.
He turned his head to her and gently placed a hand on the side of her face. "You never really did give me an answer, you know. Why did you leave the Jedi?"
