Richard raised an eyebrow, amused by the fact that she was trying to fiddle her way into escaping that easily. "No." He mused. Walking over to the strap around her waist, he flicked it loose. It let go and the captain flicked the ends off the stretcher. The ones that remained were around her chest and shoulders, and one mid way down her thighs. "There you go, more freedom. You pull out that IV and you'll die of oxygen loss. I will be standing here laughing. Don't think I didn't warn you."
He gave a small nodd to Chopper. "You can let the General go, she's had her warning." He mused.

"....I am NOT an idiot," Kayla growled as she glared at Chopper and then she growled at Richard. "Goddamn it," she growled. "That's what I thought." She wiggled her waist a little. "Much better now that I'm free now I can sit up." She held onto Chopper as she sat up and smiled. "If you deprieve me of oxygen and kill me Rich I'll come back and haunt you since I'm banned from ever going to hell since I've already been there," she said snickering in her mask as she laid her head back and squeezed Chopper's hand as she groaned. "I'm sore as hell," she grumbled.

Chopper bit his lip and before Kayla started moving he took of his helmet and dropped it to the ground. He squeezed back gently and snickered.
"You are because you've nearly killed five medics." He watched her sit up and hesitated. "you might not want to squish anything." He muttered, motioning to her ribs. Perhaps an angle would be better. He sat next to her on the bed and let her use him as a leaning post.
"It might be easier if you lean against something. It's sitting up, but not quite all the way..." That was true, but after Richard figitting and finishing off with the major things at the moment, he wanted to sit a little closer then just standing by her side. He had seen the medic dress wounds, and even do CPR. Something twitched inside him, jealousy?

Captain Richard tried his best to maintain his laughter, but failed quite miserably. He had to look away to compose himself. An idiot? That was a very good way to put it, and even though the trooper had just talked back to an officer, a general no doubt, it was still funny. Richard talked back on a daily basis, but that was him, the dysfunctional reject that was supposed to have been iliminated years ago. This was a clone trooper. He rubbed his chin in thought.
"No shavit." The captain snorted. "We've been over this General, you've been SHOT. Ontop of that your ribs!" Duh! He 'tsk tsk'ed a little, amused, then approached the stretcher as Chopper sat. It was a good idea, elevation was good for the healing process, and eventhought it didn't really help the blood flow, it would help comfort the patient. Perhaps he could opperate sooner then later. He'd had prefered to wait until they were aboard the ship, but oh well. You do what you gotta do.
The Captain stroked his chin in thought. "Hmm... that's actually not that bad of an idea. BUT, you've gotta twist so she's sitting flat and not against your shoulder." He walked over and twisted Chopper's shoulders so that Kayla leaned flat against his chest. "It keeps balance over a larger surface. More comfrotable and more useful."
He returned to examin the leg momentarily, still thinking. There was something about Chopper that made him a little suspicious, but he couldn't put his finger on it. Maybe he should do a little research and read his file over.

"I did not and those wompa rats can't find their ass from a hole in the ground," Kayla snapped as she thumped Chopper. Then she flicked her middle finger up at Richard. "......" Kayla blinked as she growled. "I hate this," she grumbled. Until they adjusted her and she snorted. "Comfy," she mused as she nestled herself into Chopper's chest and she breathed in through the oxygen mask. "Get this thing off my face," she grumbled as she yawned and then poked Chopper. "Had fun taking out clankers?" She mused.

Chopper let the Captain adjust him, a little surprised. He didn't dare show it in his face, the Captain looked suspicious enough. He bit the inside of his cheek to prevent the grin he felt like showing off. He cleared his throat and looked down at Kayla.
With a scowl he poked her back. "Yeah, although I didn't have a lot of time to scrap 'em all. I got distracted." He said flatly. Honestly, he didn't mind. Part of him would have loved to run through ripping out droid innards, but the other was quite content where he was.

With the biggest eye roll possible, Richard walked over. "No definitely not." He said dryly, reaching over and plucking the mask off her face. He turned off the oxygen, and set the mask ontop of it incase he needed it again. He watched her for a moment, making sure she wasn't spontaniously going to explode or anything, then walked around the other side. He studied the blood machine on the floor, his fingers drumming on the table top. Plunk, plunk... pause... plunk. Yes, the ring finger was missing, and honestly it didn't bother the medic anymore. He was quite used to it. "Hmm..." He pondered, walking back over to the General. "How's your head, and I don't mean intelligence wise I mean pain wise. Headaches? Bumps? Bruises? One part hurt more than the other?"

Kayla sighed softly in annoyance as she closed her eyes for a moment. "Most of my body is sore from being nearly crushed by that speeder," she said. "As for pain my ribs and leg wound," she added. "As for bruises probably, but nothing serious and a slight headache."
Kayla chuckled softly at Chopper's comment about the droids. "Well at least you got to blow some of them up," she mused with a snort as she thought for a moment.
"I should be out doing my job instead of being in here," she muttered. "No way in hell I'll be able to lead the attack on the droid factory and no way in hell am I letting the Sergeant lead the attack. Not after that ambush attack on the field," she said as she shook her head in disgust as she closed her eyes and took a deep breath as she tried to raise herself up and found herself restrained by the straps. "Goddamn it," she said as she yawned. "I hate sitting here....I feel useless," she said blinked back tears that were threatening to come out. Now was not the time to be feeling sorry for herself. Kayla didn't want Chopper worrying about while she was in pain. She tilted her head forward and her hair fell in her face as she sniffed.
(OOC: Awe...I feel sorry for the patient >< and I feel bad for Chopper ><).

This sudden display of emotion wasn't expected, and Chopper never really had the experience of having to deal with it. Perhaps it was the pain, or the meds that made her this way. Whatever it was, it made Chopper question how the hell women actually functioned.
"Have some faith General." Chopper said simply, not really knowing what else to say. "We're here to get the job done. Everyone gets injured now and again, but before they know it they're back in business. We're trained to know what to do incase of situations like this. Don't feel useless it accomplishes nothing. Focus more on your ... well being. That's all that matters."

Richard nodded and took a pad out and set it onto the table, he scribbled notes on her headache and pains. It was only the leg and the rib then. She may have suffered somekind of hit to the head, but nothing serious or symptomes would have started to show by now. Scratching the side of his head, he made a few more notes before dropping the pen.
"As pathetic as that was, the moron's right." Richard said flatly, fiddling with a few more medical supplies on the table. He stowed the gear, making the area a little cleaner. "You're healing is all that you should be focusing on now. We may be just clones but we sure as hell know how to do our jobs." The medical officer left the two for a moment, to cross to the other side of the room to prepare something. He was still in the room, but he wanted a little bit more distance to think.

Kayla fell asleep some when Chopper and Richard talked but she heard them regardless. She knew they were right and she woke up and wiped her eyes. "You're right," she said as she trailed her fingers across Chopper's hand and she raised her head up when Richard left the room she sat up and brushed her lips against his lips and rested her head on his chest. "I'm fine just sore as hell and NO bacta bath or I'll shove my blaster the ass," she teased with a smirk.

Chopper's eyes flicked up to see that Richard wasn't looking before kissing Kayla back. How secreative; he loved it. He felt so sneaky to keep yet another secret from the officers and fellow troopers. It felt, sort of good, but then again bad in other ways. He winked down at her as she rested her head against his chest.
"I'll be sure to tell the Captain that then." he mused."Or maybe I'll make him do it, just to see you get revenge on him." He chuckled.

Richard cracked his knuckles, lost in thought. He stowed a few more pieces of gear, his back turned toward the couple. He stretched lazily, arms reaching away from his body and up above his head. With a content sigh, he returned to stowing more equipment to where he could easily access them in emergencies. The troopers never did manage to find the perfect place for everything.
His thoughts trailed off as he ran his fingers against the blood splatter pattern across his wrists. The memory of the day he recieved it brought a sigh. His surprise was clearly written across his face, and his trainers seemed pleased. It was a day he'd never forget. Not to mention the stories he had spread about it. He chuckled quietly to himself.
Now back to the rib issue... when was the best time to do surgery?

Kayla glared at Chopper when he said he would make Richard put her in a bacta tank. "....You do and it's your ass AND his," she grumbled playfully as she looked up at him as she held his hand and she kissed him on the lips again. "Thanks," she said softly. "For being here. I know you rather be out destroying clankers."
Kayla sighed softly. "Don't worry about me," she said as she kissed him again and rested against his chest. "I'll be fine once Rich fixes the ribs. I know you won't be able to hold me steady when he does it and I rather you not even watch him do it. I rather wake up seeing you," she said softly smiling as she brushed her lips lightly against his cheek. "Gee wonder how my straps came undo," she mused as she her torso part of her body up and kissed Chopper again before resting her head on his chest with a smirk spread across her face.

Chopper couldn't help but shrug. "There will always be clankers, no matter where I go. I'll get 'em." He said grimly and truthfully. With the war going on, Chopper would get his chance. The comment about the bacta made him laugh, knowing very well that the end result will be as she predicted. Bacta was a good way of healing, he knew that much.
Chopper felt his ears burn slightly as she kissed him... again. He made a mental note to not watch, as she wanted, but to be there when she woke up. Richard wouldn't mind, or so Chopper hoped. Straps? What straps?! Oh. Idiot. "Hey!" He was cut off by her kiss. Don't think that'll shut him up. He placed a hand on her lower back gently. "Thtat's cheating and definitely not helping the healing process..." He said grumpily.
((OOC: Seeing how I RP Cpt Rich, let's just assume he's off doing god knows what and I'll bring him back in later. XD ))
