"Considering he's about to blow up the bomb without killing me, he kinda is."
He stood there in a shocked silence. Jabba? As in the Hutt? He brought up his hand to stroke his chin. Quite interesting, the aspect of meeting the big bosses of the crime world. He cleared his throat, trying to look not as happy as he shouldn't be. "Sure, why not? After all, I have a business proposition and needed a partner before plunging in. Seems like our meeting was a stroke of luck kid."
He brought his hand up and ruffled her hair. Mostly, it was a sign of dominance. But, he was trying to make her annoyed. Chicks were cuter that way.

"Ahem...." Scorch said, somehow managing to stay silent and watch the conversation go on between the two. "If your both a couple just say so, then I can stop trying to figure out you civvies....." Scorch said, helmet on. "Oh, by the way, bomb's nice and set, had to put a detonator on it though, so who want's the honor's?"

Melly glared at Byter. Her cheeks had turned a faint red, revealing that she was not pleased with him messing up her hair. She quickly patted it down. "Fine, it's a deal." Mel questioned what his business proposition was. "What would that be, exactly?"
She made her way back to the cockpit and blinked at the clone. "We're not a couple..." She whined. "Not even close." Melly could never see herself romantically involved with anybody. She was too independent and found it hard to trust anybody. Still, you never know. "Why don't you do it...since you're so eager to play with fire."

"Alrighty then! Fine by me.... If you don't mind me borrowing a camera off the left side of the ship an all...." Scorch held the detonator like a child would hold a piece of new candy, eager to un-wrap it and see what it's like.

Byter was about to reply but the conversation stopped short when the clone butted in. He pointed at what seemed to be the video relay before grabbing the girl and pulling her off to the side. Even if the clone wasn't going to arrest them, he still didn't wish the soldier to ascertain his business infformation to relay back to his superiors. But, then again, the clone was going with them anyway.
"There's this planet that had been under Sep control. THe Reps have recently sept in and destroyed the operation. I have an informant telling me that theres this huge weapons cash that was hidden. Not only does it have weapons, but it got ships too. There's only one way in." He smirked and pulled her in closer.
"From what I hear, this is the big one. This score could leave us millionaires." Or wind up dead or apprehended by the Reps, but yiou had to take a little risks, right?

Melly blinked and stared at him dumbly as he spoke, but soon enough a wide grin spread across her face. "Really? You don't say..." She looked hopeful, and all together, happy. This guy wasn't so bad after all. She wondered what else he knew. He was getting a little too close for her comfort. Normally she would have pushed anyone else back and sliced them up for even daring. But not this one, she instantly trusted him now they they wern't trying to kill each other.
"Really? That big?" Melly repeated, raising a brow. This was more than 'a little' risk. It made her question what he had done in the past. If everything went as planned, they wouldn't have to do what they were doing anymore. No more stealing or running, or fighting to keep your sanity, let alone your life. "This...this could work.." She nodded, perking up. The girl didn't seem so worried anymore. She had a plan. Melly was quiet for a moment, then spoke up once more. "Since you know so much about this, I'll let you lead the way. But don't mention this to anyone else. I'd hate to have to deal with competition. But what about him?" She glanced over to the trooper. "Is he coming too? What if he rats us out?"
((In the next couple of posts shall we land on the planet?))

"God...That was a beautiful explosion.... So bad I don't have more equipment like that.... But art is an explosion...." Scorch put his helmet back on, his helmet was reading activity in the ship, probbably the Jedi and smuggler talking about possible way's to get rid of him as fast as possible.... It didn't matter though... He did his job. That was all a clone's really meant to do anyway's... There job. He still had the data chip from 'The Prosecutor' which meant he had alot of credit's in his pocket right now.... "Wonder what's on it...." Scorch walked over to a consonle, and inserted the chip. After a few minute's of, information flooded the screen. Number's, equation's, weapon schematic's, and equipment drop off point's where all on the screen. Scorch let out a low whistle, turned to the door and yelled out to the other's. "HEY! YOU GUY'S MIGHT WANNA CHECK THIS OUT!" Scorch said, a little suprised that none of the clone commander's thought about wiping the data off there console's memory, but then again, all clone commando's were trained to handle each other's job's incase someone died.... So he would have found any deleted data anyway's.... "Thinking of.... Let's have a look shall we?" Scorch sat down, and begain going through it's memory unit. What he found nearly shocked him.... Nearly. "It's a list of possible way's to upgrade the Kataan armor for clone's to not only resist blaster bolt's better, but also other factor's as well... Enviorment, explosion's, and.... Lightsaber's? Well.... I guess there ARE Sith to worry about also... But the last armor was on The Prosecutor, which meant it was destroyed by the trandoshian raiding party.... That's to bad... And hello.... What's this?" Scorch muttered to himself, he then ran through a file named, X. The file was a list of clone's who wen't 'MIA' or 'WIA'. Each was listed as deceased. His own name was the latest to be added to it. "So now I'm dead... That make's thing's interesting.... Now I won't have to deal with Clone Assassin's.... Those devil's are fast..." Scorch muttered to himself, he took his helmet off, and removed the locator beacon in it, and crushed it in his hand's. This was going to be fun.... Being AWOL for awhile....

"Oh don't worry about me telling. I've been keeping this a secret for more than six months. I've just been waiting to find the right partner." He gave a very devious grin. This was it. He was finally going to get all the money he could dream about. He could practically taste the alcohol now. He gave a small sigh. The kid, Melly, didn't seem half bad either. She was definitely the one who could help him on this little venture. "The clone? I dunno, you tell me. We could kill him..."
Then, Scorch yelled out what was going on with his memory core. Byter raised an eyebrow. "But, it looks like he's already dead and his body blasted to smithereens. I suppose we could just leave him behind on Tatooine."

"Ok....So now, I can finally do some other thing's too... Like get my Mando armor and some of my 'OTHER' equipment...." Scorch was going to enjoy destroying some building's and such with out restriction's. "Oh the lovley joy of an explosion...." Scorch simply smiled at the thought.

"As long he's here, might as well get some use out of him." The girl replied. "I have a feeling that ditching him won't be so easy."
"Stop blabbering and make yourself useful!" Melly finally barked out towards the clone. "I trust you know how to work a ship?" She questioned him. If he was going to be there, he might as well earn his keep. "You're not going AWOL. He's your captain now." She pointed to Byter. Since he had most of the details, it was only natural to put him in charge of their new mission. Only time would tell how the clone woul handle it.
"If you can land this ship safely in the Dune Sea, with no explosions, I'll be impressed."

Byter looked at her in surprise. After all, she just had a complete change of heart and put him in charge. Not bad. But, then again, their new mission could make the both of them rich. Maybe Scorch too, so long as he followed orders. "Alright clone. Here's the deal."
He sat down in the co-pilot's seat. "We're going to Tatooine and as it turns out, the hyper-drive is not activated. So, while you prep it for hyper-speed, I'll go switch it on. Oh, and if you do a good job, I might be tempted to reward you with some of the food on my ship. Kapesch?"
He got up and stretched, then headed towards the back of the small ship, passing by the airlock. Strange how he knew how to dismantle a hyper-drive, then put it bak together again, yet didn't know how to fix an engine. Meh, probably just his luck. He reached the engine and inspected it for a moment. This model didn't come with a built-in drive, so it had to have been an add-on. There it was. He checked it for any damage, not seeing any, then switched it on.

"huh... So they arn't going to just shove me into deep space and let my head explode..... That's a new good feeling! Someone who doesn't want to blow my head off for being traided by Mando'ads or for working for the GAR... What a nice feeling it is...." Scorch sat down on the pilot seat, and started the ship ready for hyperdrive jump to Tatooine. He already sent the message to is account for his object's to be sent to Tatooine, along with a long message stating that he would not come back to the GAR for Kal Skirta. Once he got his weapon's, armor, and his credit's, he'd buy a ship, and maybe stick with these newbie's.... It's certainly been interesting so far....

Melly questioned herself for a moment, but said nothing. Was it really a good idea to let them take control of the ship? It was a good test, that's for sure. She folded her arms and leaned back against a metal wall behind the clone. "How did you end up flapting around in deep space?" She questioned him once Byter had left. Mel stared at the back of his head. For now, it was just him and her in the cockpit. Admittingly she was curious. "You don't have anyone out there looking for you?"

"Hm... Well... That depend's on what you call, 'searching'. I was on a mission to retreave this information from 'The Prosecutor', a GAR battle cruiser that somehow managed to reappear. My team was sent at about 0700 to investigate it. At first, all we found where Mynock's. It was..... A bit disgraceful really. What I saw there, would change my out look on the battle forever.... I was searching the level's for survivor's, when I just kept finding dead clone's... Some had there neck's slit, other's where missing limb's, and some where just.... Blown to piece's.... When I found the information I was looking for, I also found alot of..... 'Cold blooded' friend's.... Trandoshian Slaver's. There where plenty of them.... Some where using knive's, other's where using slug thrower's, and a few where using a type of slug assualt weapon. One of the bosses there used a wierd minniegun with a bayonet on it, he alone killed the survivor's I found. Arc Trooper's didn't stand a chance, so I ran. I found an escape hatch, and left the ship. My fellow Delta squad brother's are either dead, or on the ship right now. I don't know.... Beside's, it's better that I'm not found either way.... I'd be executed for leaving, or I'd be caught by Trandoshian's and sold to the Sep's for information." Scorch said all of that, simply ignoring the growing hate for the Sep's, and the idea of shoving his hidden vibro blade down a Trandoshian's throat.
"So... What's your story? Why are you out here? If you really don't mind me asking...." Scorch said simply, ignoring his emotion's of wanting to kill the sep's and slaver's who massacered his brother's on the Prosecutor....

Melly listened quietly. His story was gruesome, and she tried hard to keep the images out of her head. The war was bloody indeed, a hard fact for some to accept. If one was lucky they could live their whole lives without being touched by the war. Unfortunately this was not the case for them. "Sounds difficult." She replied. "Sorry to hear that."
She paused and blinked at him. "If you mean here, on this ship, you already know the answer to that...before, though.." Her voice trailed off. Melly was hesitant to tell him. "I don't know... When I was alone I was trying to figure out the least known trade routes. This ship is stolen, if you haven't already figured that out. I was planning on ditching it when I got to wherever it was I was going. There isn't much to tell, really." She shrugged. It was sad. "I wanted to get from point A to point B alive. That wouldn't have happened though, if you hadn't caught the bomb..." Melly cut herself off. Now she was rambling. "Just land the ship, no more questions." She turned away and exited the cockpit, disappearing into the back of the ship.
