Needless to say, it was good to be home. No matter how much a holiday feels home is where the heart is and Mandalore definitely was the place to be. ’I was away almost too long.’ A small feeling of homesickness washed over Bev temporarily, but with a small sniff and a stretch of his neck he stepped onto the landing platform and into the sun.
It shone down brightly, reflecting the wonderful sights of the capitol, Sundari. How it had changed over the years and the loss made him sigh softly. ’This is ridiculous, getting all caught up in my lonely sniffles.’ The Mandolorian army instructor snorted as he slid the helmet over his head. It was very pleasant, for once. Since the large cultural shift at the beginning of the clone wars, things have been very different. But regardless, home was home and it was great to be back.
The first thing Bev did was stretch, his gold and spiky armor reflecting the light. The second was to breathe deeply a few times, sucking in the air.
”Ahhh….. yaim.” He exhaled.
((Yaim – Mando’a for ‘home’ ))
