Elara The man motioned me to tell my story. I had a funny feeling about the strange man. "I read, that my daddy had fought Im-Imperal storm troopers with you, and that you two had stayed on Kamino for 2 days before they blew the building up. Are you really a Jedi Knight?"
((OOC-I tried to make it sound like a child was speaking, but i'm not sure it makes sense))

{OOC - It is fine nothing to worry about haha. It's great!} I nodded, I remembered that battle all too well, we were up against impossible odds, but somehow we managed to survive. "I am a Jedi Master, one of the few remaining in fact"I unclipped my lightsabers and put them on the table in front of me. I then picked up one and activated it. The cyan blade shot out of the hilt and hummed as I held it. "I was on Kamino, I was with Yulan, we fought against the Imperials, however we were overwhelmed and defeated. When the facility blew, Yulan and I were inside an escape pod, we ejected just as the facility blew. To this day I have no idea how your mother Desteana was able to find us, we were so far underwater yet she found us and brought us back tot he surface"That was a dark time, it was at that time where we were truly alone, we could not rely on the Clones anymore, we didn't even have any Rebels to assist us as the alliance wasn't created yet.

Elara I looked at the Jedi and smiled. "Can you train me to be a powerful Jedi like Mister Skywalker?" My excitement was exploding. To follow my father's footsteps was all i wanted to do.
Desteana Those were the words i feared so much. I remember the day me and my brother were taken. I couldn't part with my girl. "Vang, hallway. Now"

Nodding, I follow Desteana outside in the hallway. I knew that this would eventually pop up, and I will tell how I feel about the situation.
Standing outside the room, I close the door. We were alone, and no one was eaves dropping.
"What do you want to do? I will follow whatever you say. I know you have been dreading this day"
This day would not end without tears shed, Desteana was strong, but so was Yulan. Elara would have inherited that trait. But I was able to teah her, however the decision is entirely up to her mother. I looked at my fellow Jedi with a neutral face, I was not going to force her into anything, let alone force her own only daughter.
My thoughts dwelled back to Lyalill, my former Padawan. I trained him well, and he became a strong Jedi Knight, and a very wise man. I had a collection of Holocrons from the Jedi Temple after the Purge. But at the base of it all, Desteana is Elara's mother. She must decide.

Desteana I stood in the hallway with Vang for a few seconds. I let out a big sigh and looked at my old friend. "Vang, if you take her, promise me she will be safe. I already know how capable she is to be a Jedi, but i'm worried with how these past years have been that something will happen. Just promise me that and she'll be your padawan." He nodded in agreement which gave me reassurance she'd be ok.
We went back into the dinning hall and took our seats. Elara was sitting in her seat with a big smile on her face, and all i could do is smile back. With that she ran into my lap, and gave me a big hug. "Thank you Mommy, i promise i'll make proud."

I nodded, we then returned to the room. Sitting down, I smile at Elara.
"Elara, I will take you under my wing as my Padawan Learner. But know this; a Jedi's life is hard and difficult. You will go through tough times, but will prevail. I will teach you everything I know. Your training starts whenever you are ready my young Padawan"
I nodded in her direction. She was ready, but even still, her family ties could not be a good thing. Jedi don't have family ties, as their family could be used against them, much like Anakin Skywalker.
But either way, Elara is my Padawan. And I would make sure Yulan would be proud of her. I would make Yoda proud. Desteana made her mind up. We then were seated, and continued to talk about the Clone Wars.
