First Defence (OPEN)

The Republic Capital Flagship, Impending Doom exited Hyperspace and fired up the sublight engines and made its way towards the planet Kashyyyk. On its bridge I stood still, watching as my ship slowly sailed toward my destination.

"Admiral, how are we?"

"We are ready to send the Cruisers and Supply Ships out General. What are the orders?"

Pondering, I think for a bit. We were four weeks ahead of the Droid army, and had a lot of time to make a solid defence. My hand rubs my chin, I feel my light beard prickle my hand as I do. Looking down I close my eyes and think. after a few minutes I open my eyes.

"Send down the ships and find a landing zone for Impending Doom. I shall fly ahead and negotiate with the neighbouring Wookiee Villages"

Pivoting on my right foot, I march toward the door and down the corridor before me. Clone Troopers past me getting orders on their comlink. Getting into the Lift Tube, I felt the lift travel down the shaft to the floor I needed to be on. Exiting the lift I make my way toward the Hangar Bay. Getting onto my comlink I contact the Bridge.

"Send word to Anakin Skywalker and other Jedi nearby. I sense that we will need their assistance"

"Copy that General. Sending Transmission now"

Hopping into my Starfighter, I fire up the engines and wait for the lights to turn green before soaring out the bay followed closely by a great number of ARC-170's. turning left, I make my way toward Kashyyyk blasting past Cruisers and supply ships.

The Jedi cruiser "The Avenger" was near the Kashyyyk system doing some routine checks on some near by planets, making sure that the droid armies was clear. After a long tour of duty out in the Outer rim, Anakin and his Legion was now doing some small work and having some much needed downtime.

Anakin was in the command bridge looking over a screen of the planet below, checking in on the republic outpost.

"That's good Captain, when ever something happens, just report in." Anakin said calmly, a little bored with nothing to do.

"Yes General, all will be well." the clone replied and cut the transmission.

Anakin turned in his chair, he has been here on the bridge for the past 36 hours with no sleep, he had to think on his work and what do do, but he could not get his wife and padawan kaori out of his mind. Sure she was on the ship, but they was just to busy to spend any time with each other, for right now it was work came first.

He moved a com link to his mouth and started to contact kaori, sure she could come up here and help him on the bridge, he needed to be near her.

"Hey Kaori, can you come up to the bridge, we need to get some work done."

He knew that she would want to come see him, even if she was busy with something.

[Kaori Skywalker]

Kaori was walking down the hall toward her room thinking about her husband Anakin. She hates that they can barely spend time together. She placed her hand on her stomache where she knew their baby was growing. Every day she would think about what they will do when she can no longer hide the pregnancy.

she walked into her room when suddenly her comlink went off. She answered and got the call from Anakin asking her to come to the bridge. Know him he was just wanting her to come there so they could be close

"on my way Anakin"

she put away her comlink and started to walk to the bridge. As she walked she smiled and walked up to Anakin

"you called?

A week had past since I had Admiral Thane send a transmission to Anakin Skywalker, but progress was good. The Wookiees agreed to assist us and helped us in creation of the Headquarters and Base of Operations. We had a wall built around the base with snipers and lookouts at every ten metres, and with security tighter than the Jedi Temple anyone trying to get in without 'permission' would be killed on sight.

Seeing a group of Clones moving equipment, I help carry the load and move it toward the new communication station we were in the middle of making. By using Impending Doom's communication tower, we were able to boost transmissions incredibly. After putting the large crate down I took out my water canister and took a sip before handing it to a Clone that looked absolutely exhausted.

"You are going to need it more than me soldier. Drink up"

"Thank you sir, I owe you"

"nonsense, you owe me nothing, it is I who owe you and your brothers. It's the least I can do"

Walking away my black hooded robe flutters behind me. I hope Anakin comes soon, I saw the size of the droid army on its way, and we will need reinforcements ASAP. A squad of Republic Commandos were gathered around some Wookiees having what seemed like an arm wrestling competition. Chuckling to myself it was good that the soldiers weren't too concerned with the coming enemy force, but something told me it was in the back of every man's mind.

"May the force drive you here swiftly Skywalker. We are goin g to need you"

I spoke these words to myself as I looked at everyone from the top of the ramp that lead to the mess hall and living quarters. They weren't the best living quarters, but they allowed everyone to get enough sleep, and that was enough, also they were surprisingly comfortable. Looking up I see exactly what I wanted to, a Republic Cruiser!

"Thank the force"

En route to the Kashyyyk system, General Desteana was on edge. It had been a month since she had seen any other Jedi other than her padawon. Commander Yulan walks up behind her.
"Desteana, what are the orders?"
She turned and looked at him, her black hair behind her.
"Get the Red Falcon out into the battle upon arrival, their going to get all the help they need."
Yulan salutes the exhausted general and than marches towards the hanger. He passes pilots and troopers scrambling to prepare for the battle to come. He spots the ARC trooper "Sev" talking to the Red Falcon's pilots. He can see the custom ARC-170 behind them with it's special load out. As he gets closer Yulan can hear Sev talking.
"I can't really see how i can every get a wife, the only way to do that is to dessert and i'm never going to do that. Eh, Commander Yulan. What was the order"
"Red Falcons, prepare for launch, your the first to get any kills. Sev report to Dradis, he's in the freshar."
All:"Yes sir"

10 minutes later: They arrive at Kashyyyk and immediately join Skywalker's fleet.

Okay, so maybe he knew he wasn't supposed to be here. 

Stormchaser knew he was deliberately disobeying orders. He had been told to stay on Kamino for one more "Test" And, well... He knew what that meant. He had already beaten every test they had programmed into the training field for him. Were they only being skittish because he was one of the first half-blind snipers? Oh, please. Stormchaser still had a reputation for not missing. He knew he should be here. 

Grabbing his comm, and a good old friend- a customized  DC-15X sniper rifle- he made his way with his brothers through the corridors. I felt great to be marked by blue once more- he finally had a chance to paint his new armor. But, there was one striking sign on his left shoulder bell that gave him away. An arrow. It had been an inside joke, since those in his squad believed he had no sense of direction. And, unfortunately, one of them saw it.

"Stormchaser! What the hell are you doing here!?"

Well. This wasn't good.  Stormchaser turned to face his brother,  putting on a lovely tone, "Oh, hello there, Cato. Beautiful weather we're having."

"Stormy, come on...

The clone named "Cato" sighed heavily and took Stormchaser by the shoulder, pushing him towards the entrance to the bridge.

"Do you really have to do this to me?"
"You're supposed to be on Kamino!"
"Cato, I am not taking anymore damned tests."

Cato led Stormchaser along the Bridget's narrow walkway and spoke respectfully as he stopped in front of the two Jedi on the bridge.

"General, sir. We have a stowaway."

Stormchaser sighed inwardly. This was going to be fun. Of course he would be on the ship with both Skywalkers...

Taking the squad of Republic Commandos with me, their black tribal markings and black visors on grey armour makes them an intimidating group of men. They were carrying their weapons and were walking behind me except for the squad leader "Omega" who walked beside me. The squad of Clones were fairly built as well, and their size was another factor to their intimidation, but they were the most loyal squad I have, they follow orders soon as I give them, without any hesitation.

The base was coming along well, walking to the gate at the front I stand there and wait for the lookout to tell me who was there. And soon enough I heard the Clone tell me.

"Jedi inbound General"

"Very well"

Still standing there I wait for my Jedi brothers to come in. with my black hood over my face, my face is once again cast into shadow, like Sidious, my appearance is still a mystery, the only ones to get a decent look are Windu, Yoda and Kenobi. I left my hood up due to my large facial scar caused by a sword while I was a young boy at the Temple on Coruscant. But to this day I have only taken my hood off when I need to, I have learned to fight with it on. My misty grey eyes become darker as the hood darkens my features, my nose tip and the bottom of my chin are visible to the light. I keep my head tilted slightly to add a sense of mystery to myself.

My Clones in my command had black armour with white tribal markings on them, this made them a very different bunch of soldiers. There Clones were selected by myself, for example; CT-7666 aka "Lucifer" was a close combat specialist and an Arc Trooper long with his squad members; Belial, Leviathan, Destroyer, Phoenix, and Daemon. They were my best Arc Trooper squad. I couldn't have a better bunch of Clones to have my back.

Anakin turned toward Kaori and looked down at her and pointed to the halogram map of the planet kashyyyk. He knew that now there time off was over and something was going on. He did not get much info, just stating they was headed and being the only ones around they had to act. That was the thing about being in the 501st Legion, they had to be ready to go when ever they was called upon.

"We got word from another fleet at kashyyyk, there calling for assistance and we are heading there now."

Skywalkers fleet blasted out of hyperspace near the planet Kashyyyk. Anakin walked to the large window looking out and seen the other ships out. Anakin slowly turned around looking to Commander Kane.

"Commander, patch me through Rogan. I need to see whats going on." Anakin said calmly.

"Yes General."

Anakins com link was then placed through with the com link to Rognan.

"Rognan, This is skywalker, we have just blasted out of hyperspace outside the planet, whats the situation?"

[Kaori Skywalker]

Kaori looked down at the halogram map. Kashyyk. She thought to herself. This is where her father and little brother was. She hoped they were ok.

As Anakin talked to Kane she rolled her eyes. she still despised that clone and probably always will. She walked over and stood beside Anakin looking out.

Kaori hated the fact that her time alone with Anakin was over with. She sighed slightly to herself and rubbed her stomache a few times before putting her hand down without getting caught.

As the two generals talked, Stormchaser began to feel better that he wouldn't be punished for being on the cruiser when he was supposed to be taking a test on Kamino. Honestly, he felt like a child who was constantly being misjudged. Just because he was half blind made the Kamonians believe that he couldn't be a sniper. 

Cato, however, wasn't letting his brother get off the hook. Stormchaser rolled his eyes under his helmet as the clone holding him by the shoulder prodded for Annikin's attention verbally, "General, sir."  

Stormchaser was never one to be patient. He had things to do. He was one of the 501st, he honestly could care less if he was in trouble or not, he wanted to do his job without Having someone hovering his shoulder. 

"For the love of everything worshipped in the universe, Cato, I am not taking another test. I am fine. I haven't missed yet, And I probably never will."

Stormchaser seemed to be clueless of the fact that he was standing right in front of the two Jedi.

I could sense Anakin's and Kaori's force signatures, but they were at a distance, I could only guess they just came out of Hyperspace. I could sense something else, something off. But I shook the feeling off as my comlink started beeping. I brought up my wrist and listened to what Skywalker had to say, and as usual he mispronounced my name. But I laughed and pushed a button to reply.

"It's Ragnan my battle-brother, and it is good to hear from you again! I am currently getting a Base of Operations set up and could use some more hands. I will clear you for a Landing Zone at Platform Bravo, and don't worry, it can holt the weight of your Cruiser. Over"

Leaving the Main Gate, I and my Republic Commando Squad moved toward the Landing Zone Platform and waited for them to arrive. Clonetroopers scrambled to their feet to avoid being crushed and went back to work getting the Comunication Tower online. It wouldn't take too long, we just needed some more time.

After what seemed like twenty minutes the Republic Cruiser "The Avenger" touched down. My hood robe fluttered violently, the wind was so strong my hood flew off my head, my entire face was revealed and some Clones stopped in their tracks just to get a look at this rare sighting. But my Commandos just stood their, not even needing to brace themselves, they were a strong bunch of soldiers, physically and mentally.

Soon enough the loading ramp lowered, and then Anakin Skywalker and Kaori were in sight, quickly I flip my hood back on, my face was once again, cast into shadow. I once again became the 'Ghost Guardian' as I have been called in the Jedi Order. Once Anakin and Kaori had finished their little walk, I bowed politely to them, then stood back up shortly after.

"Welcome to Kashyyyk. And welcome to my base, I know it isn't pretty, but I haven't had time to decorate. Anakin if you could get some Clone Engineers to the Tanks and Communication Tower, we will be heading to the briefing room. I can give you details there"

[Lord Vader]

"Copy that."

Anakin put the com link in his belt and then looked at kane and nodded. kane walked over to the crew and told them to take the cruiser down to the planet. Anakin turned toward Kaori and gave her a small grin.

"Ready to get back to work Kaori?"

He smiled and looked out the widow as the ship went down toward the planet kashyyyk. After the ship landed, Anakin walked down the hall and then waited there as the ramp lowered to the ground, walking with kaori beside him, with clone troops marching down behind them both.

"Thank You Ragnan."

He turned and gave the order to kane and watched kane moving off to the other clone troopers. Anakin turned back to Ragnan and patted on Kaoris shoulder.

"Come on Kaori." He said walking off, following ragnan to the briefing room.

[Kaori Skywalker]

Kaori sighed

"i guess i have no choice."

As they exited the ship and looked down she saw another jedi she had never seen before. He wore his hood up and she didn't know what to think. Should she feel intimidated by him or just ignore it. She listened as Kane gave orders to other clones and saw 3 of her clones, deadeye, comet and Rinz, walk by.

She nodded as Anakin patted her shoulder and she followed close behind still looking around. After awhile she realized that all of this was far away from her father and brother and she sighed a sigh of relief.

After getting permission to land, Yulan boarded an LAAT to go to the surface. Desteana got on another with her padawan. We began out trip down to the surface. The remainder of the 502nd fleet joined the forces in orbit, increasing the planets strength.

I looked at my brothers in the gunship. They were talking to each other, but i didn't care to interrupt them for this was the first time they've ever had a chance to talk while going planet side. I was shining my custom helmet, as I've always done before a battle. I pick up my experimental rifle and sling it to my back as we're landing. I walk out of the gunship, my white hair blowing behind me. I look at the luscious forests growing around the base. I take in a deep breath of the fresh air than walk towards the forest.

"Big trees. Not my type of place, but the air is the freshest i've ever breathed."

I slipped on my helmet and walked to the nearby beach. The wookies were everywhere, but should i have expected anything less. I couldn't find the generals so i assumed they began their reports. I hated reporting in, always was boring, but the general understood, that's why she has me tell her what happened over a nice gal and dinner. In a way she kinda grew on me, and I wouldn't want to kill her as was planned for some time. I watched as preparations continued, wondering what i'd do when the time came to kill her.
