It was a rather elaborate plan. Raw power, while useful in the right situations, would be insufficient in order to fulfil this particular objective, not to mention unnecessarily expensive. Thus a combination of subtlety, deceit, and a relatively large scale distraction would hopefully prove to be both successful and cost-effective. Hopefully.
Kinar felt no such concern about the success of his mission, the Jedi might have called this feeling arrogance, and perhaps it was, but this was not a concern as a Republic CR90 corvette exited hyperspace near Malastare. For weeks Kinar had taken advantage of his well honed abilities of illusion and shapeshifting in order to stay incognito aboard the vessel. These skills were almost second nature to him, having learned them at a young age amongst the Sith sorcerers. Of course he had long abandoned the mysticism associated with their practices and now took advantage of the Force without the guise of folklore.
It was not a simple process, eliminating a Clone trooper, and assuming the entirety of his identity, including his unique traits, as the Clones would likely notice odd behavior, especially extended over many weeks. But he had succeed so far in his endeavour, now came the interesting part. Kinar, concealed beneath Clone armor, made his way to the bridge.
Upon arrival, it was business as usual. The clones suspected nothing as they moved about the metallic structure, the green planet growing larger and larger. That was all about to change. Under his helmet, Kinar grinned, as he reached for a small detonator on his belt and activated it. A large explosion emanated from the back of the ship, which had already begun it's decent toward the planet. In order to maintain cover, even amidst the chaos Kinar took a coordinated tumble on the bridge, along with many other Clones.
The ship plummeted toward a jungle on the planet whilst Kinar silently eliminated a few Clones operating the small ship. There were only twenty-two excluding himself, but he was certain at least ten would have been wiped out by the explosion of the engines. Another five were on the bridge but the life was soon choked out of them, a malicious force mutedly murdering them. 'Time to make my exit,' he thought as he dropped the illusion that had imitated clone armor, revealing a sinister black replacement.
Kinar dashed through the corridor of the ship toward the six escape pods. Rounding a corner he ran smack into one of the remaining clones. The sounds of secondary explosions and the tumult involved with plowing unhindered through the air in a giant metal container must have converged to conceal the oncoming clone's footsteps. Kinar quickly recovered and violently shoved the clone into wall with the Force, knocking him unconscious before resuming his progress to the escape pods.
Running low on time, Kinar hoped no more distractions would arise as he had no intention of going down with the Republic's ship. To his misfortune, the remaining five clones had gathered in the pod bay. “Hmph, this was unexpected,” he muttered as he grabbed his saber from his belt. Sprinting into the room, the clones reacted quickly to the black form, probably on alert due to the unexpected sabotage. A severed helmet clanked against the floor, shortly before blaster bolts began flying in Kinar's direction. He deflected what he could, but mostly relied on Force assisted agility to compensate. Another soldier dropped dead, his body separated at the waste. As he approached the third of five, a well aimed shot caught the Sith in the left shoulder, causing a shot of pain to run through his body. He roared but didn't slow as he fed on a new source of rage.
The third fell as the crimson saber pierced his heart, and it remained there as Kinar spun to face the last two. He smiled cruelly, taking advantage of the brief pause in blaster fire which usually came about when he approached a live clone. Lifting his arms from his sides, the bodies of the clones mirrored this motion for a few moments before being slammed harshly into the floor. Their survival of the crash would be unlikely, so Kinar pulled his lightsaber to him and quickly launched a pod.
