The sprawling and peaceful Ahto City stood tall against the ever spanning sea that was the planet of Manaan. Krathos had missed his homeworld ever since he left for the Jedi Order. He stood, overlooking the beautiful outward horizon as the sun rose. A local Selkath walked up to him, "Greetings Krathos, it is good to see you again" The Selkath spoke in it's native togue. Krathos turned and nodded, "You as well," he replied in the language. "What brings you here to Manaan, after so many years? We have not seen you since you left to join the Jedi. We have been running short on Kolto as of late, the Republic seems to have been demanding more shipments over the year the Clone War began. The Selkath said. Krathos turned back to the horizon, "Well....I have been home sick ever since I joined the war, and I felt I needed to visit my home once in a while." Even though Krathos was speaking the Selkath language, a hint of sadness was imminent in his voice. Krathos lit up as he heard the Selkath speak of Kolto shipments, "That's too bad, Kolto is hard to find these days," He then asked, "Is it true that Revan visited this world?" The Selkath gave a nod, "Yes, Revan did indeed come to the world of Manaan, but that was nearly 4000 years ago, and back then our world was a neutral society, and our laws were more strict! But since that time our world has changed and so have the Selkath laws."
Krathos nodded to the native. He had suddenly felt a tremor in the Force, he had sensed something terrible was going to happen.

Maud'Dib was simply running another simple job, of acquiring black market material, and possibley getting a few thousand credit's, when he noticed that his "friend's" disappeared... "Huh...Where did they go??" Maud'Dib said aloud, his pet Nexu walked over and rubbed up against him lovingly. She had a knack for doing things like that occasionally. "Now that I think about it... They REALLY wanted to come here...Wonder why?"

A new star seemed to appear in the space above Manaan as a Confederate assault fleet arrived from Hyperspace with a bright flash of light. Leading the Separatist fleet, the Invisible Hand stood in front of the quartet of Munificent-class star frigates. Behind the frigates, flew a pair of Recusant-class light destroyer and, by last, the Lucrehulk-class battleship "Void".
In the surface of Ahto City, the panic quickly rose in air, the early attempts to run away frustrated by the attack of blockade's droid starfighters.

Looking up, Maud'Dib noticed the on slaught of droid fighter's, he gave a disapproving face before sighing, then he got up, and walked to the nearest black market to buy some very much needed weapon's for his cause. "Damn Separtist....Alway's getting the damn way...."

In the blank infinity of the panic, a loud, terrifying sound joined the choir of screams and cries. The volume became higher and higher, the total fear of death suddenly striking in every brain and muscle of the civilians. The air raid sirens.
Within seconds, the dozens of Hyena bombers descended from the clouds, diving towards their prey. In the occasion of reaching the bombing altitude, the cloud of bombers opened the bomb chute, allowing the reddish proton bombs to initiate their slow, menacing way to destruction. In a single strike, the hundreds of bombs impacted against the surface of the city, the explosions filling the town with red flashes of lights. Buildings collapsed in a slow motion, their debris raining down upon the already damaged streets, corpses covering the roads with the blood of innocents. Ahto City darkest hour had come.

When he saw the bombers coming, he did the only thing anyone else would do.... He ran. He prayed to whatever god or godess was watching over him, hoping that not a single shell would fall upon him, and smite his small flame of existence.

In minutes after the bombing run, the Trident assault ships arrived, falling from the sky, their metallic tentacle spinning slowly as the shuttles impacted in the seawaters surrounding Ahto City. The octopus-like engines of destruction carefully unleashed the Aqua droids, who slowly merged into huge swarms, preparing for the invasion of the surface. In moments, the amphibious army would be ready to strike.
