The rivalry between Garyn Fett and Darth Vader isn't even close to being over. Having killed his ex wife, who was also Vader's student, Darth Vader had a vendetta against Fett. One he knew wouldn't end until one or the other was killed. Fortunately for Garyn, he didn't have to worry too much about Arya. Kalee was a safe and well guarded place. Garyn smiled as he held Arya, and kissed her head before gently setting her back down.
"Daddy, where are you going?" She asked as she clung to Garyn's leg.
Garyn smiled again, and got down on one knee before hugging her again. "There's something I need to do, but I won't be gone too long. Kits will be here with you."
"Why can't I go?" Arya asked, and gave him the puppy dog face.
Garyn laughed. "If this was any other time, that may of worked. I'm sorry, cyar'ika, but this will be too dangerous for you. Ni kar'tayl gar darasuum, I won't be gone too long."
Arya kissed his cheek before letting go. "Bye daddy, I love you."
Garyn got up, and left the house, thinking nothing else but of Arya. "Ni kar'tayl gar darasuum" He whispered again.
One of the elite Kaleesh warriors ran to catch up to Garyn. "Are you sure about doing this alone? Allow me to come with."
Garyn brought the Kaleesh into a hug. "Thank you, but this is something I need to do on my own. Vader and I have.."
"I know, I know, but we all still worry about you taking this too far and too personal."
"I understand your concerns, and I appreciate them, but I promise I'll be fine." Am I telling him that, or me? Truth was, Garyn was still angry at Vader for what happened, as Vader was the instigator in the situation. Garyn knew when he finally did come face to face with the dark lord, emotions would fight to take over. For now, it was just a simple "I'm back, Vader, the war is on." message. Garyn put on his helmet as he entered his ship, Martyr, and blasted off for the wild space sector where informants had said a lone Star Destroyer was. He noted several tie fighters were circling the cruiser. Interesting
The reason for it being there was unknown. Maybe Vader had one Destroyer in every quadrant as a guard? Or maybe he was looking or expecting something? Garyn jumped to light speed, and rechecked his weapons, armor and gear to make sure things were perfect. One wrong move, and he'd not be returning to Arya. Something he'd make sure never happened. He would be in Arya's life forever, and Vader wasn't going to ruin his family any further. Martyr finally reached the destination, and Garyn could see the lone Destroyer barely moving. Garyn had planned on how this was going down. Due to his cousin Boba having imperial clearance, Garyn piggybacked that clearance to his ship.
"This is Star Destroyer "Revelation", identify yourself."
"Destroyer Revelation, I'm a bounty hunter hired by Lord Vader. He gave me the coordinates for this Destroyer and said to wait for his arrival." Gotta love knowing how to lie. he thought. The tie fighters began circling his ship, as if ready to fire on the order.
There was a long pause. "L-Lord Vader will be arriving here? Your clearance has checked out. Please land in hangar five."
Garyn grinned. He could hear the fear in the officer's voice. Guess these Di'kuts didn't know how to properly verify. Luckily for them, Garyn was going to kill them all before they faced Vader's wrath. Garyn landed in the hangar, noting the anti air guns were locked on his ship. Don't blame them for not trusting me. He chuckled. Walking down the ramp of his ship, Garyn was greeted by an officer and four stormtrooper guards.
"We were not aware of any bounty hunters or Vader's arrival. " The officer said suspiciously.
At that, the stormtroopers seemed to grasp their weapons tighter, and Garyn just smirked. "Look, I have no idea. When Vader tells me to do something, I don't pause to ask questions. We both know anyone who questions his orders get force choked."
The officer seemed to loosen up slightly. "Good point. If you'll follow me, I'll show you to where you can wait."
