After the cancellation of The Clone Wars, the animation department at Lucasfilm are working on another animated show that will take place somewhere in that 19 years gap after episode 3. The main plot of this show is the galactic empire hunting dow. The rest of the jedi who survived order 66. Not much is known about Star Wars Rebels, only that the director of the show posted concept art of tie fighters and tie pilots.

first episode due to air on Disney XD in 2014.
