When Shaia was 4 her parents were killed and right when her parents killer was about to kill her Jango Fett came and saved her. He took her with him to Kamino where she met his son Boba Fett. Jango raised her and boba up together but Shaia would always be affected from the loss of her parents.
When her and boba were 11 Jango Fett was killed and Shaia went into deep depression. Her and Boba found a book that was left behind for them from Jango that kept them going and giving them advice. Shaia clinged to the book not wanting to let it go. She was afraid to let go of Jango and didn't want to think about his death.
Slowly, thanks to Boba, Shaia finally let go of Jango and accepted his death. Her and Boba grew closer to each other and started to fall in love. when they were 16 they got arrested for starting a fight with a Jedi for 2 years until lord Vader let them out to go on a bounty for him
