It was afternoon, probably right after suppertime. The perfect time to jump ship. As terrible as it sounds, it was the only point in time when Chopper had the safety to go ashore secretly and visit his, you named it, family.
At first, the trooper couldn't help but feel worried maybe even afraid of the thought of a child. The fact he could die at any moment ontop of perhaps even getting kicked out of the army were huge factors. It was a miracle enough it had lasted this long as a secret.
Chopper unlocked the door and slipped inside the house. Only then could he exhale with relief. He never really talked about his ventures from 'ship to home' with his daughter or Kayla for that matter. It unnerved him, almost creepy running about the city sort of like a hunted animal. He only hoped they knew how mad it drove him.
He dumped a bag onto the floor and started shedding armor; helmet, arm plates and gloves were stacked on the table. Where they even here?
"Hello?" He wandered over to a bedroom door and peered inside. No one. He scratched his head.
"Kaitlin?! Kayla?"

"Kaitlin, drop that blaster or risk losing a limb," Kayla growled as she spotted Katlin carrying a blaster.
Kaitlin smirked as she fired at a battle droid. "Gotcha," she said with a smirk."Mama, I think daddy is home."
"Kaitlin, wait," Kayla said as she followed Kaitlin back into the house as she saw Kaitlin run into the house.
"Daddy," Kaitlin said as she ran to him, carrying the blaster and wrapped her arms around him and hugged him.
"Kaitlin," Kayla said as she rolled her eyes. "Chopper!" Kayla said as she dropped her blaster and wrapped her arms around Chopper and kissed him on the lips.

Chopper spun on his heel, nerves on the go at the shouting. The voices were recognizable and his face turned into one of joy. He caught Kaitlin in his arms and picked her up, spinning her in a complete circle before returning her to her feet.
"There she is! Ahd what's this..." He motioned toward the blaster. "Now where on earth did you find that?!" He said sneekily. "Try to keep it hidden better from your mother..." He said quietly with a chuckle. He put a hand on her head and ruffled her hair slightly.
He turned to Kayla as she arrived and put a hand around her waist, pulling her closer and kissing her back. "Hello to you too! No what have we been up to?" He said, sticking his hands on his hips.

"I stole it from Mama," Kaitlin said as she smirked.
"Yeah and did she tell you she scrapped a droid?" Kayla asked sarcastically as she rolled her eyes.
"Scrapping clankers," Kaitlin said with a smirk.
"Get that blaster away from her and that sniper riffle from her before I pin her down and strip search her," Kayla said.
"My blaster and snipper," Kaitlin said as she fired away at a clanker and then took off running out the door.
"Kaitlin, come back here!" Kayla said.

Chopper nearly felt his chest burst with pride. That was his girl; and she definitely got it from him. Nothing was more satisfying than watching clankers hit dead on the ground. Despite how he knew that weapons around young children were dangerous, he still felt as if she deserved to have them.
"Hey! Scrap one for me! BE CAREFUL!" He called after her.
He turned to Kayla and kissed her cheek. "Hey, I'm only what... 12? She and I are almost technically the same age. I don't see why not. We've taught her to use it, let her have some fun. Besides, they're droids. We'll let her have some fun, then take 'em and lock 'em up."

"Yeah, yeah," Kaitlin said as she fired away with her blaster.
Kayla facepalmed herself. "Don't encourage her," she grumbled as she smirked. "She's 13 actually," she said with a laugh. "She has force powers as well, but she's doing this just to tick me off and she knows she's not allowed to have a sniper so if she blows herself up you ain't blaming me for it."

Chopper frowned. There was no way she could blow herself up, blow something up yes. However, Chopper was confident enough that she inherited some good common sense. Wait a minute.
"I'll go see what she's up too..." He kissed her again, before following the path Kaitlin had run off in. It was somwhat odd knowing she was technically older then him. Shaking off the feeling, he called out for her, listening for gun fire.
"Kaitlin?"

"There's General Solo's daughter," Slick said as a sniper droid grabbed Katlin.
"Ah!" Kaitlin yelled as she blasted through a droid's head and it let her go.
Kayla growled. "Damn it," she said as she fired at a droid. "How in the fuck did those idiots find out we live here?"

chopper was running the moment he heard the scream. He skidded around the corner and nearly fell over in shock. There he was, Slick. The spy. The traitor. tHe man who had ruined Chopper's life and left scars to proove it.
Chopper's hands clenched into fists, a look of fury replacing the surprise.
"SLICK!" He roared, clenching his teeth. He ignored Kayla completely, knowing she had her side under control. She was tough, she could definitely take care of herself. He had no clue how they foudn their place, but Chopper was going to make sure he wouldn't tell... let alone tell anything ever again.

"You get the fuck away from my kid now," Kayla growled as she fired her sniper.
"Stun her," Slick said as two guards fired their stun blasters.
Kayla dodged out of the way.
Slick grabbed Kaitlin by the arm and stuck her with a tranq. "Stand down," he said. "Or I'll kill her.
"You do and I'll shove my rocket launcher so far up your ass that you won't be able to have children," Kayla growled as a guard grabbed Kayla.
"Eat laser," Kaitlin said as she smacked Slick upside the head with her sniper.
"Get that kid," Slick said as Kaitlin ran to Chopper.
Kayla Force-pushed the guard back and she Force-choked Slick. "Give me one fucking reason why I shouldn't kill you where you stand?" She asked as she growled.
"Kill me and I'll kill your daughter," Slick said as he pointed to a electro collar on Katlin's leg and pressed a button to elecute her.
"Ah!!!" Kaitlin said as she fell to the ground.

Chopper dropped a droid, his inner circuitry sparking between his fingers. The look upon his face was murderous. How dare he; how DARE he show up. Not only had the trator torn his squad apart, let alone alot of the others, now he was trying to mess with his family. His own family.
The trooper bolted, pounding the ground with his feet as he skidded to a halt beside Kaitlin.
"Kayla, maybe we should have a face with slick face to face! Can you bring him here." He spat the name of his former sargeant and quickly checked that his daughter was still alive. He gently squeezed her hand, and stood to look upon Slick.

"I see I'm not the only one who is a traitor to the Republicm" Slick spat as he glared at Chopper and Kayla and then pulled out his blaster and fired at Kayla only to miss.
Kayla glared at Slick. "So this is Slick?" She asked raising an eyebrow. "You let my kid go or I'll shoot you where you are," she growled.
"Ah!!" Kaitlin said as she fumbled for her saber to free herself and she fell into Chopper's arms.
Kayla smirked at Slick. "I suggest you start talking or I'll gut you in half or I'll let your former brother skin you alive." Kayla brought Slick down to Chopper's level. "What do you think, Chopper?" She asked as she looked at Chopper while keeping a strong Force-grip on him to where he could barely breathe.

"Not for long," Kaitlin said as she Force-pushed Slick into the wall and then decked him in the head.
"Kaitlin!" Kayla said as she grabbed Katlin and moved her away from Slick. "Chopper deal with the scum before I kill himself."

Chopper caught Kaitlin, and gently made sure she was steady before letting her sit down. Once he knew she was safe, Chopper was in over drive. He saw Kayla bring him over and leapt at him as he hit the wall. A knee jammed toward his ribs, as the clone tried to pin him against the wall.
"Traitor?! Me! Hardly! I would never sell my brothers away and leave them to die! What do you want Slick!" He spat angrily.

Slick groaned when Chopper beat the crap out of him. Kayla didn't bother keeping a hold on him. When Chopper asked Slick what he wanted he smirked. "I was offered a deal to kidnap your daughter and girlfriend," he said.
Kayla outright laughed. "And you thought it would be wise to come here and send clankers to finish ran-sacking the place and tink we are stupid enough to leave ourselves exposed?" she asked as she growled. "Who hired you?"
"Like hell I'm telling youm" Slick said.
"Oh you'll tell one way or anoher because you're not getting out alive if you don't," she said, holding her sniper.
"Ah!" Kaitlin said.
Kayla glared at Slick and she waved her hand. "You will tell us who hired you," she said.
"No, I won't tell you who hired me," Slick said snickering.
