A Family Reunion [Solo Family]

Chopper slammed Slick back against the wall, finding it difficult not to tear his head off. They needed him alive, but every part of him wanted to be rid of this menace. All that pain he had gone through, that his brothers had gone through over this scum! He snarled, his eyes flicking to Kaitlin as she cried out. He must still have the remote. Perhaps he coudl distract him to Kayla could sneak it away.

"Why Slick.... WHY! A deal?! You were respected! Trusted! Then you betrayed us! Now look at you! You had more honour then that!"

"They offered me something better than money," Slick said as he looked at Chopper."Freedom!"

"Freedom in betraying your brothers and throwing away a career you once had?" Kayla spat.


Slick laughed and then Kaitlin groaned as Kayla walked over towards Kaitlin. "Let him go," Kayla said as she looked at Chopper.

Slick kicked Chopper in the gut and then he ran off.

"I'm fine," Kaitlin said as she groaned.

"No you're not fine," Kayla said as Katilin sat up and held her side.

"I said I'm fine," Kaitlin growled as she held her side and felt a sharp pain in her side as she fell to her knees.

"Kaitlin," Kayla said as she caught her.

"My side hurts," Kaitlin said as she grumbled.

"Get the medic droid," Kayla said. "We may have to take her the hospital so they can remove her appendix."

"Nope, no droid," Kaitlin said as she scrammbled to her feet and ran into the house and locked herself in her room and then climbed up to the roof.

Kayla blinked and she sighed at Kaitlin's tactics. "You go reason with your daughter before I use a tranq on her," she said as she facepalmed herself.

Kaitlin used the Force to knock down some boxes to block the way up to the roof. She climbed in a hamcock and fell asleep.

(OOC: Let Chopper and Kaitlin talk. She still has her sniper and will probably try and shoot Chopper if he tries to come near her. Poor kiddo has been to hell and back. )

Chopper was so close to killing Slick it frightened him. He dropped the former Sargeant and watched him run. His hands shook slightly from the shock; did that really just happen? He blinked at Slick's fading shape and slowly turned his gaze to Kayla. His heart ached as shuffled over to her side and hugged her tight. He was all of a sudden afraid; given the chance would he actually kill him?
"I will." He kissed the side of her head and jogged back into the house.

"Kaitlin?!" He called, running into the house and feeling the door locked. Frowning, he backed up and jogged to find another way to the roof.

Accomplishing the task, he peered over the edge and spotted her. "Kaitlin?" he called softly, grunting as he hauled himself to the roof and slid onto the top.

Kayla blinked when Chopper hugged her. She never seen him so angry before. She knew that Chopper held a grudge against Slick due to betraying him, but she didn't know that it ran that deep. She hugged him back and smiled when he went to go talk to Kaitlin. She would let the two talk and if there was anyone who was good with reasoning with people, it was Chopper. 

Kayla sighed. How in the hell did their enemy find out about their family or knew that Chopper would come here? She shook her head and heard a small ticking sound. "Something ain't right," she muttered to herself as she walked over to Chopper's backpack and saw something flashing. "A homing beacon," she said grinning as she deactivated it. 

(OOC: I was tired last night and went to bed lol. Stupid time zone differences.)

[Kaitlin Solo]

(OOC: This whole time I've been noticing we've been spelling Katlin's name 'Kaitlin' or Katlin. Technically there is suppose to be an 'i' after the a but  I went ahead and changed the spelling of it to 'Kaitlin'. Not that I am picky with spelling but she's a character . Another thing would Kayla be Chopper's wife or girlfriend? Considering they have a kid XD.)

Kaitlin was sound asleep till she heard foot steps and heard someone calling her name. She kept her sniper at bay as she woke up and rubbed her eyes as she tried to sit up, but felt a sharp pain in her side as she gritted her teeth, feeling the pain ease up some.

Kaitlin picked up the sniper and pointed it up until she noticed it was Chopper and lowered the gun down and then wrapped her arms around Chopper and hugged him as she rested her head on his chest and blinked back tears that were coming from her eyes. 

"I suppose mama sent you up here to try and talk me into seeing the droid medic," she mused as she rolled her eyes. "After all the crap I've had to deal with I don't want to even see another droid or anyone for that matter and yet mama wonders why I'm a lone wolf," she added with a snort as she rolled her green eyes. "Who was that guy anyway and why in the heck did he want me? I mean really anyone who try to take me wouldn't want to keep me very long," she added with a grumble as she growled in pain from her side.

I think we should make them have a wedding! LOL YES! That would be so much fun. XD ))

Chopper dropped to his knees by Katlin's side, hugging her close. He didn't mind the fact that the sniper had been directed at him, infact he was rather proud. She had just been through a lot that happened so fast, and he probably would have done the same.

"If there's one thing I've told you, it's that I hate droids. I hate them even more then you do, so I'm not going to let you near one if you wanted to go or not! There's no way I'm letting some mechanical mishap touch my baby girl." He said protectively, closing his eyes as he rested his head ontop of hers. "Keep grumbling like that and I will take you to see a medic, a person."

He hesitated for a moment when she asked who it was. In the end, it was decided that it was best she knew to be more wary of her surroundings in the future.
"The man was Slick, my old sargeant and brother that betrayed me and the rest of us, resulting in many deaths. Last time I saw him, he was being sent off to prison. Why he wants you, I don't know. But I will find out, I promise. Slick won't get away with this." He growled, a pain beginning to develop in his heart. It was something he hadn't truly experienced before, but it hurt... a lot.

(OOC: It's all right. I changed her name spelling. And yes we should do a wedding for them since they have Kaitlin lol.)

Kaitlin snickered at Chopper's comment about about hating droids and her smile turned into a frown. She listened as he spoke about Slick and whatnot.

"I'll be fine, like I told mama only my side is bothering me some," she said as she groaned. "And that's only if you can catch me to bring me to a medic," she added with a growl as she Force-pushed Chopper away and hopped up and made a run for it and then end up tripping and banging her head against a box.

"What the HELL is going on up there?" Kayla asked.

"Nothing," Kaitlin said as she rubbed her head.

Chopper felt the air rush out of his lungs as he tumbled over backwards and slammed against the roof. He rolled over and nearly burst out laughing from the surprise. Leaning up on his elbow, he rolled to his feet and ran over to her. He gently helped her into a seated position.
"Even the mightiest soldier knows when enough is enough. It gets to a point when they know they cannot carry on without causing greater damage. In order for them to be helpful, they must take the time to relax. I learned it the hard way, I'm pretty sure your mother did too." He chuckled, sitting down beside Kaitlin and giving her a hard look. An eyebrow raised, waiting for her responce.

"I heard that!" Kayla yelled at Chopper through through the roof.

Kaitlin snickered and she rolled her eyes at Chopper and she yawned. "I'm not even gonna reply with something snippy about that," she grumbled with a snort. "Besides you're the one who had to mention that you know what," she added with a grumble as she groaned.

"If she doesn't come down I'm coming with the tranq," Kayla yelled.

"Like hell she will," Kaitlin said with a snort.

Chopper amde a face, and a wince with a laugh. He snickered and gave his daughter a wink.
"You'll have to get throught me first!" He said gruffly, half joking. If Kaitlin was honestly unwilling to go, he didn't want Kayla to frighten the witts outta her! It's be better if she went willingly.

"Don't you dare bring up that tranq! Do we even have one?! I definitely don't remember...." He rubbed his chin, then looked over at Kaitlin. His eyes narrowed slightly, secretly hoping Kayla didn't run up here with some weapon he didn't even knew they had. How funny.

"I'm serious though; it's best to get it looked at..."

"And if I don't you'll take me either way," Kaitlin said as she yawned.

Kayla stood in the doorway holding tranq. "Hello puppet," she said as she held the tranq gun.

Kaitlin Force-pushed Chopper away from her towards Kayla's direction and then she scrambled to her feet and then pulled out her cable launcher and slid down the side of the house and into her bedroom and locked herself up in the closet.

"Well that didn't work," Kayla said rolling her eyes. "She's in her room with her sniper," she added.

Chopper once again flew forward, skidding to a stop by Kayla's feet. Rolling over, he looked up at her.
"I tried, and you ruined it." He chuckled sarcasticly, sitting up. He rubbed his head in complaint, wincing as felt over the back. "Can we officially say, she takes after you?" He blinked, looking up at her.

He climbed to his feet. Man, she was fast. Then again, where on earth did they get that gun? He blinked, still rubbing the back of his head, at the weapon. Interesting, she must have had that one hidden. He honestly had no idea it was more then threats!

"So now what? Bring the medic to her?"

"Katlin takes after you with droids," Kayla said. "Now go to her room and you try reasoning with her again or I'll stick her with Richard," she added with a smirk.

Chopper blinked. Captain Richard? Surely he'd get the job done, and super good that's for sure, but the guy was smart. He'd probably figure them out. Chopper bit his lip and sighed.
"I'll see what I can do, but I highly suggest not threatening to tranq her." He mused, leaning in for a kiss. He did love her, from his head to the tips of his toes. There wasn't much room for else, but some how he'd manage.

Slidding off the roof, he walked into the house and up to his daughter's door. He sat down, leaning his back up against it. He hoped she was there, and was able to detect his presence. He didn't really know what to say... yet. Hopefully he'd think of something.

"Go in her room," Kayla said as she smirked as she held the tranq gun.

"If mama comes in with the tranq I'll shoot her with my sniper," Kaitlin said in her sleep.

"That's if you can catch me," Kayla growled as she headed downstairs.
